Stormwolf
I found that to be huge plus in my books, but I am a perv. As for similar ones.... Off the top of my head, Da Capo 2 would be a close match for the feeling and style.
Suzu Fanatic
I would agree with you, but Kosame wasn't interested in a triangle, so it would be behind your back. That's the reason i didn't like that end.. Well, in addition to her allowing Kosame to be intimate with her in public and not you, and just tease you with "jelly?" I just found it annoying. She's your girlfriend after all. Da capo 1 has a different style than 2? If not shouldn't i just start from the beginning?
Stormwolf
I just read up a bit. Seems like it's 50 years after the first game and it's about children of the first game's characters etcetc. If that's the only big thing, and it's a generally bad VN then i'll just try out the second
Suzu Fanatic
Either way works. In hindsight - I think it really would benefit you to at least read Nemu's and Sakura's routes in DC1, as they do have a lasting impact on some backstory elements in DC2. But either way, most people enjoy DC2 regardless of the 1st, so hope it goes well for you.

Zakamutt
At this point, you should probably just wait for the official translation release, lol.
