Misosazai-san
Okay, I downloaded Yandere and a few other visual novels. Whenever I open the game, or any of the others, (And yes, my locale is set to Japan) I get the following message The files are set to read only and I have tried opening as administrator. Please send any advice, thanks in advanced
solidbatman
Do all the other VNs show the same error with just a different file path?
Misosazai-san
Do all the other VNs show the same error with just a different file path? Yes, so I'm worried there may be a problem with my pc... The others are Mirai no Kimi to Subete no Uta ni and Hoshizora no Memoria. Hoshizora has a slightly different error but I want to clear these up first and hope it resolves itself. Kendjin
Why is it desktop\?\otaku ? Why is there a ?, have you made a ? folder?
Zakamutt
Since they are set to read only, set them not read only? Oo
solidbatman
Why is it desktop\?\otaku ? Why is there a ?, have you made a ? folder? That does stand out, especially since there is a blank spot on the file explorer file path. Unselect read only from the VNs, like Zakamutt suggested. That will eliminate one potential issue. It didn't like the name of the folder, which had the symbol for a blank space in it.(alt+255) Running smoothly now. Thanks for all the replies.
