HAHA, you actually made it eh? Ren/10

I'm not expert to answer your questions, but my God what system are you running? That thing looks older than Windows XP. And I don't know anything older than that...

Wow, Windows 10 is out? I've barely gotten use to Windows 8...

and for us older gamers that sense of NESstalgia
Caught yeh. Nice pun
But yeah, pretty much agree with what everyone is saying. I've bought Fable Anniversary as of late, but I just can't get my self to play it, not because it's bad, but because I'm just not as interested in games-period as I use to be... I find myself only playing games my friends play since I can talk with them about it. I must say, I find this to be a rather sad development, since I plan to develop games in the future... And making things you barely enjoy anymore is not going to be easy

What an interesting thread... Hmmmm, things that I look forward to? I highly doubt I can count them. The second I wake up, they start falling on my brain one by one, without any proper order... The only one I think about when I seriously need motivation though, would be the belief that the current state of the world needs to be changed, and only I can change it. Not on a very grand, chuuni scale mind you, but knowing that only I can push the world in a particular direction, no matter how small, can be pretty motivating

Must... Resist... Bashing... Rance...

I guess I second Nosebleed, and if Planetarian doesn't give you enough tears, Narcissu is a fine follow up, as it's basically the same thing, as far as being short and tear jerking

I guess, but writing good male protagonists takes effort
While a good female lead only needs dem front bumpers
Seriously though, like Down, I don't watch much of these kinds of shows. The only thing that rings a bell when I read your description is OriEmo. Now THAT was one dispicable female lead surrounded by girls who were all cooler than her. Not because the other possible love interests were awesome, but because she was so disgusting, a trash can would become a lovable character when put next to her.

It is indeed a weird Japanese thing, one that has a considerable amount of cultural and demographic reasons we need not go into... Oh btw, there's this one called Saya no Uta (song of Saya) that's about college students, and it's pretty short. Whadya say m8?
-
Welp, everyone already said most of what needed to be said... But I would like to add that it's not the fact that the said protagonist is good or evil, but how balanced he is in the middle. A completely evil character is just as boring and predictable as a perfectly good character. Humans are in their own nature, not angels nor devils, but something in between. Even Hitler had some good qualities, and even the prophets of the Bible committed some mistakes.
That's what makes the human race as interesting as it is. There is a large space between pure good and pure evil, which allows for a lot of variety between mankind.

Quite demanding tonight, Babi-kun~

Rewrite your pathetic post.
And read Rewrite.

One word: Narcissus
If you don't want to be depressed, do not read that VN. You have been warned...
-
I vote Rooke for GM.
Zaka for GM pls
-
Usually, I ask around and see if the VN itself requires a walkthrough to complete with efficiency. Some, like Ever17 or Clannad, have a lot of choices and mechanics and orders that are hard and frustrating to go into blindly. With such VNs, I prefer using a walkthrough of course.
As for others, such as Rewrite or Grisaia, the choices are few and are pretty easy to figure out, regarding which route you want. With those, I do not use a walkthrough.
Some VNs I read for the lulz (Brass Restoration. Who can play that game seriously?), which I go into blindly just to see where I'll end up

According to this recent article, ALL internet pornography is banned in Egypt. Or at least it was in 2012. Not sure how things changed with the revolution(s) and all.
Hahaha, I can say with confidence that you can do whatever you want on the internet in Egypt, no anywhere in the Middle East, and not really fear the government, mainly because they're just too dumb to make any working system for dealing with online crime. Just don't go showing off your porn to the officials' faces and you're ok.
Oh, and don't insult religion, cuz in that case they'll find you with speed and accuracy that'll make the FBI seem ourdated -
... I wish I could describe my feeling with words, but this fowl language has no words I know of that can properly describe my feeling right now.
But please, if you can, read every post in the forum, ever.
Especially my posts

You could become a top level political pollster with that kind of bias.
I'll take that as a compliment
-
Wow, not bad at all. Was pretty interesting to hear. (Though honestly your reasons for getting into VNs are disturbing as crap )
Looking forward to more from you guys, especially Sanahtlig and Suikashoujo.

I don't know which opinion is the majority opinion but terra being kind of bad is a fairly popular opinion.
-
The biggest Rewrite spoilers imaginable lie ahead. You have been warned
The purpose of this poll is to see what the majority think of the final route in Rewrite, Terra. Feel free to share your opinion and your reasons, and no need to worry about spoilers since you don't need to put them in the spoiler box if the thread itself has (spoilers) in its title (I think).
As for myself, I thought it was nothing short of awesome. Kotarou's sexy voice, his awesome change in personality, the way he refused to bow to neither Guardian nor Gaia... Just awesome. It felt a lot like he got his own route, and I loved it
-
The Terra Route in Rewrite was actually one of my favorite routes.
How is that an unpopular opinion? That route was da best, the minority
who have no taste whatsoeverare the ones who think otherwise.

Nice work there. Michiru isn't even a character I like much, but that artwork is splendid. Ten/10
Always wonderful to see people wanting to add to the community
