Anime movies, and then my dad's watched episodes of Darker than Black and Full Metal Panic! because I was watching them in the family room on the big tv. I kinda want him to watch more of FMP!... he was in the army, he might find it even more amusing? Anyway, he didn't finish either of them. Darker than Black left him with the deep impression "anime is complicated"....

I can't believe Saber wasn't all over Shirou's dick since the beginning of Fate. He has a sense of chivalry that rivals just about anyone else. I believe it was fairly popular and preferred of men to think like that.

Nah, he's sexist. Unless you want to call his comments about Ayako in UBW "being born in the wrong time"... Besides, Saber is a warrior. He's holding a warrior back. It's obvious she's a warrior/knight first, servant second and woman in the chivalric sense last from her perspective.

I feel you man, but worry not. Eiji Mikage (the author) has said that after writing 2nd volume of "Bokura wa Mahou Shoujo no Naka" (which is already out), he will start working on volume 7. And besides, the awesome translator of the LN (EusthEnoptEron) said that he is already 40% done with it. So we can expect volume 7 to be out in 2015

Seriously?! Thanks for the news! Maria Maria Maria Maria! ....I loved the series a lot. The character development is pretty stellar, and I loved looking at the end of the sixth volume and going "this is a completely different person than the one in the first novel" yeahhhhh. I re-read the entire thing in April (my first read being years ago....), but I'll read it again when the 7th novel comes out. Everything's coming to a head!

well but the point here is that they removed not only the h-scenes but parts of the plot itself (not sex-related), back to the h-scenes many vns have the option to turn them off, just as simple as that, give the player the option and for me this is worst because they are doing it just to grab more money, I don't believe the argument of them having a cautious attitude towards releasing adult content in the West and either way censorship is always a bad thing, it doesn't matter why they are doing it, then again this is just my personal opinion.
....I'm gonna be calm and centred (of course, my main argument was about RinXD's derogatory comments towards people who don't want sex in their games). Frankly, this is a whole new market for Frontwing. There are three real companies in this market: Sekai Project, which has shown the greatest amount of profit/support in its all-ages ventures (very few of its games are 18+, remember), Mangagamer (which, by its own staff's admissions, is barely keeping afloat/relies on non-story games to make its money - even when the story games have sex, they're crap shoots), and JAST (and we're surprised they're even releasing a game!). It's not surprising they're a little bit cautious. Add in the fact that in Japan, the 18+ and all-ages games are considered so different they need different titles. Their course of action isn't the most shocking thing.
Sekai Project's PR, of course, needs work. But this sounds like a new thing. It actually sounds like they're still in negotiations with Frontwing and trying to work this out.... I'd wait a little before the knee-jerk reactions to how they're handling this.

If you cant handle the content as originally written then dont read it not everyone looks at H-Scenes as reasons to fap. Eroge is orginally intended for an adult audience hence why it normally comes with them scenes.

Let's talk about "smut romance novels" with story not on the level of a nukige! That sounds like an interesting topic! What one would you say has humour on par with Grisaia? Or characters? I'm curious. Go for it. One that gets guys to read it as well as girls. Wow, they must feel marginalized with all the erotic content clearly not aimed at them surrounded by that great story they want to enjoy.
They write them originally with erotic content and then, hey! They remove it! Because they want other people to play! The original developers decide, "hey, we understand that requiring erotic content in our game is kinda restrictive, so let's take it out!" And there's nothing wrong with it.

Um an all age version is never the full version of the game in certain Vn's the H-Scenes are pretty important parts of the VN so cutting them is also cutting a chunk of the story away. Also playing all age versions cause "You cant handle H-scenes" is just a indicator that you need to grow up and realize that sexual content is not this wrong forbidden thing you should never do or watch but more so that it's an adult act how ever if people have such issue with this there are quite a few 18+ games with the option to turn off the h-content all together the need for releasing two versions is pointless if you can just have the option to turn it off.
Admittedly, this is an attitude I despise in vn players, so forgive me for the attitude, but hey! This straight woman doesn't want to constantly read sex scenes aimed at guys, and otoges aren't translated very often or have the same level of story! People playing in public want options, too! Could you not tell a 20-year-old woman to "grow up" because she dislikes sex scenes in vns? There are reasons for it. Not only that - this may sound like a concept, but bear with me - if the original author writes the additional scenes, there's no censorship and it follows their intent. The important question here is whether the original authors wrote the vita content, but someone working for Frontwing certainly did or approved it, and I'm frankly getting sick of the VN scene's utter dependence on sex scenes when a hell of a lot of the time they're simple opportunities to fap that believe it or not can be replaced.

Why would you try to swerve around a deer on a car, I'm sorry but cars can't parkour people.
You're not supposed to hit the brakes, though? They limit the car's ability to steer, and the possibility of running into the object if it surprises you is high - you don't really have enough time to brake effectively (Canada's Worst Driver is life and law might be the actual reason I chose that answer).
Can't say I'm too surprised about any of the results, but they're still interesting to read. Thanks. I have no idea if I could've mathed if I tried....

??? Koestl's tweet reads the opposite way to me... He's basically saying "we can add more of the 18+ script and keep an M rating because the JP Vita version's script is tame", isn't he....?
I was only planning on buying all-ages, but the physical copies are only 18+ versions, right? That means only digital........... Sighhhh. Hoping for better news on that front... Although I'm not sad about any "censorship" this means considering the original author probably wrote the added parts.... This is the Frontwing-approved Frontwing-made all-ages version, after all.... Although I have no idea if the Fujisaki wrote the all-ages Fujisaki bits, etc., I'm at least confident it won't be If My Heart Had Wings.

Last time I checked, the scent that Sakura was giving off came from her breath. Does this mean that she rarely gets halitosis due to her Jinyou powers overpowering the natural odor that her breath gives?

Exactly. When I said 'you can always go Kuki', I meant you could always not have any powers and just rely on your skills. That's what makes Kuki so amazing. It's quite sad that he fell into a very bad state of depression and revenge seeking. He's a very good character after all.

Sakura's got quite a weird power. I don't know what I'll feel when I smell the odor emanating from her. I just. It usually has a bad connotation, you know? I think it'll be pleasant smelling though, since I sure as hell won't be calmed by smelling something disgusting. I might be addicted to her smell though...

Physical at 120 makes me so happy.... I was debating on getting just Kajitsu or getting the trilogy in digital (not my ideal) depending on the prices but that's in my budget.....! Waiting for sekai project to open up the kickstarter so I can throw money at them!

BL... good entry level stuff.. You can try Seven Days if you don't want sex scenes and Sorenari ni Shinken nandesu if you don't mind them (there's only one or two at the end - not one every chapter or anything if that's your worry). They're both quality I think most BL fans agree on... If neither of them look good, ask me for more. My mind isn't fully functional right now.

I was just thinking about what powers you liked in the novel. Of course, there's always the advantage factor. But some are based on the holder's current situation. For example, Shoushichi's powers. Though I don't think it's that hard to utilize in any environment, unless it is stripped off of all metal.
Yeah, Shoushichi's powers would be good. Kuki doesn't have powers to my knowledge, and if he does then they're battle-based, so that's not practical, and neither are Katou-sensei's. The moment you got in a fight tho they'd be badass~ ...Sakura's power would be good, too. The ability to be able to calm others in intense situations is great, considering I just spent an entire day in the same room as people who sighed every 5 seconds.....
Not if they use something that will block the sound from directly entering your ears without interference. :^)

Read the last Hirunaka no Ryuusei chapter. Good ending. Going back and rereading the entirety because I want to remember how good it was the entire way through and the ending didn't ruin everything. Solid romance shoujo manga for anyone looking for that sort of thing.
It's very reading intensive at times (like a lot of dialogue/words, not that it is tough to read). I wouldn't say it's a romantic comedy but it has both of those elements within it. I personally binge on manga (so I'll read large chunks of a series in one sitting), but it'd be nice to read on breaks and whatnot. I must warn you, the beginning chapter or two are weaker than the rest, but the story grabs you by the nuts pretty quickly after that.
With this strong of a recommendation, I'm interested. Can I ask if it's ecchi? I... just plain don't read ecchi, 'cause I do enough ignoring female nudity for male gaze in visual novels....

I own Fate/Extra because my Fate fangirl is hard to stop. Finished it with Saber, near the last boss with Archer, saved Caster for last. It's hard to dispute the fact that it's glorified rock-paper-scissors which requires quite a bit of level grinding to be comfortable with the bosses.... But it's pretty fun in its own way. Archer's path is full of references to Fate/Stay Night which are great! The characters in general are cool, over-the-top.The music is pretty great, too. Especially the noble phantasm music for the player's servants. Those are my general opinions. I'll think better later maybe.
