  1. I prefer JAST usually because paypal, but also use Mangagamer. The only part I use Steam for is putting them into my library on there(Easier to have them all in one place).
  2. It's encryption. The files are password protected. So even if we successfully extract the data it is still treated as encrypted and won't be packed correctly. (This was happening in my case) I would maybe go ask on some tech sites, or wait a few hours cause the site will have it's peak hours soon and a more competent hacker (I usually don't hack and only dabble in it, I do mod though) than me might show up. Also, I am going to sleep as it is 6am here. Good luck man!
  3. It's no problem really. Sorry I couldn't get it working.
  4. Yeah, I did too. You know, any other engine and this would be much simpler to hack. BGI is annoying in general.
  5. That's a good question. I couldn't figure that out because there were no batch files, exe's, or binaries included.
  6. Since they licensed the game, I am assuming they acquired the file passwords from the developers. My script can't create the keyfile like it did for older games (Fortune Arterial). So I am useless at this point. Doubtful they will tell you, probably because they can't.
  7. On the master file of Arc reader on github it shows there is a bse script able to be used. Supposed to remove encryptions.
  8. Don't translate that part, it's a program name. So google will destroy it.
  9. Sorry to say, but after testing, the files don't work properly because they are password protected. The Arc extractor brute forces the data but when trying to compress back into an archive the data doesn't store properly which is also compounded with the password problem on all the data_arcs. It's protection so people like me and you can't just steal their code and such. Another shame is the only script I have for cracking arc passwords is for older scripts only(Security is stronger on newer releases) and not for newer scripts (It's custom but found the main code on hongfire). Unless you or somebody else can bypass the password, I believe you are out of luck here. I'll keep trying though, I might be able to alter my script enough to bypass it. Edit: If you can get the BSE on the arc reader to work, it may remove the encryption. I would try that.
  10. For some reason, only Himari_Love_Enco is the only one that is packed correctly when archiving. The rest have zero bytes of data.
  11. Have you tried unarchiving the archive you made with to see if there was an error in the program? Also, what program (and a link to it please) are you using to repack the files back into an arc file?
  12. After trying to recreate your problem, I never ran into an issue there. It just extracted them normally and I now have them isolated in a folder of their own. I'll edit in the pictures in a few minutes. Also Ethornell Editor is for v1 scripts, Fureraba uses v2 so you may run into issues there.(I'll edit in the pictures below) Here are the extracted arc files for me. Edit: I think I figured out your issue. You're not clicking "extract all files" but probably clicking "extract selected file(s)".
  13. Don't worry I sat through 4 seasons of Familiar of Zero. Still loved that series (only series that I read the translated light novels to date) Seriously though, hope it doesn't enrage me, and is the mc as dumb as a pile of bricks or is he decent?
  14. Actually, I forgot about Ikikoi. Think you recommended it back about 3 months ago and I completely spaced it out. Thanks for that and the other recommendations as well!
  15. I just bookmarked it instead so it's all good. A few weeks ago somebody else thought the same as the person I replied to did. I also recently went through and rated all of the VNs on my list.
  16. Left it as unknown because I didn't want to forget about. I'll just remove it lol. Thanks for the recommendation (Thought it got a re-translation after MG realized it was terrible?)
  17. Seems they actually care about fandiscs, with the fureraba one coming soon and this one's being confirmed as well. Hope they continue this trend with future releases
  18. Looking at it's VNDB page, it fills that criteria. Initial game is a just a romance with the heroine of your choosing. The fandisc is just extra content for each heroine. No harem endings as far as the tags go.
  19. I tried reading it but it just wasn't jiving with me. Oldest I've read is Kanon. They just feel way too dated. I may have to give it another try though.
  20. So here's another recommendation thread from me (Though it has been a good three months since the last haha). After the last thread I followed the advice and combed through the forums and found a few VNs that way but ultimately ended up reading through my backlog and now I have nothing to read(I even decided to read all the Key games). Recently finished Suki Suki and To Heart 2(for the second time lol). So I was hoping somebody here could provide a few recommendations that I haven't already read. My list is under my profile. Thanks in advance to all that recommends something!
  21. Something similar occurs in Ef: The first tale(and the latter tale too). You play as og mc then get switched to his friend who had a voice who now doesn't and now the og mc has a voice. Makes absolutely no sense to me. If you're going to pay a VA for lines for the character, you might as well go the whole way. Though, I can understand if their budget wasn't the greatest.
  22. Guess you're not entirely wrong there, both still look like they are >12 though. In the remake for it though Matsuri doesn't look that young anymore.
  23. Nah, the porn isn't all that bad(I never react to it really anyways), just when the game has hardcore loli content is when I question things lol. Main reason I haven't touched Maitetsu and a few others(like the one underneath your posts lol[yeah I know it's censored out in the release but really?])
