  1. That is an unfinished piece. I am finishing it up for my senior recital hopefully next semester. It is going to be a 4 movement piece with modal harmony. I basically use the 30 extra measures as a copy and paste area for other musical ideas that I develop and want to somehow implement them into the song. It is a great way to compose using Finale.
  2. I need to move this over to creative corner. I posted in the wrong forum...
  3. Hey all. It has been some time since I last posted on this forum. I am currently studying music comp, and I am approaching my graduation day by next semester or two hopefully. I am willing to do freelance composing jobs for some money and build up a resume. I am able to compose anything from large scale orchestral pieces, solo piano, and even electronic music if needed. Prices are negotiable, depending on the complexity of the piece, length, number of instruments utilized, etc. I would prefer serious projects that have a certain amount work put into it (not referring to the plot as I am fine with silly or weird plots). Here are some examples of my work Dropbox Link. Let me know if interested. Thank you. EDIT: Just a note, NONE of the songs in the Dropbox link are allowed AT ALL for use in VNs or any other projects, including movies, shows, animations, games, etc.. I worked very hard on these, and they are for demonstration purposes only. You may, however, download them to enjoy and listen to the music for personal use.
  4. Barktooth, my textbox was glitched out and I couldn't do anything about it. I tried logging out, closing Chrome, and even clearing history. Posting was my last option, and somehow it worked.
  5. And we have a winner! As far as my last post goes, the textbox was broken and it wouldn't let me clear the message. I tried posting and it was the only thing that would fix it.
  6. Muv Luv: I personally didn't see the appeal in it. Yume Miru Kusuri: The characters were extremely shallow and the scenarios didn't make sense half of the time.
  7. I'm sure it will have several caves to explore. The environment looks very diverse, so I am sure there is plenty of nooks and crannies to explore. I remember them showing an area behind a waterfall with some goodies. I just bought a Wii U so I could get it when it comes out. In the meantime, I finally get to buy Splatoon which I have wanted to get for a while.
  8. They did confirm there will be towns and NPCs to do sidequests and an overall story line, but you are right. It looks really empty so far with not much to do. Another thing I worry about is getting lost in the overworld, because that thing is HUGE!!
  9. So, since I am new to this forum, I would like to get to know some people. What are your favorite music or themes from visual novels? For themes, I like the Kanon theme Last Regrets by Ayana. The full version is awesome IMO. As far as background music goes, I really like Orange Twilight So Close from Yume Miru Kusuri. Even though the VN was kinda meh for me, I really love the soundtrack. So what do you guys like?
  10. So, aside from my love for visual novels, I am a huge Zelda fanboy. After years of just waiting for so much as a title, we got not only that last week at E3, but we also got gameplay. Here are some thoughts I have: Pros: 1: The game looks beautiful. The colors are vibrant and overall just looks gorgeous. It was supposedly confirmed as well that the demos were running on Wii U hardware, which makes me even more excited. 2: It appears that they fixed the broken stamina meter that was in Skyward Sword, which I personally hated. It appears that you can run at a normal pace, but use it to dash and climb up everything. 3: I like that it is open world. They even said that you can go straight to the final boss if you had the skill to do so, which is just freaking cool IMO. 4: Eiji Aonuma is directing it, the same guy that directed Twilight Princess, and Majora's Mask, which is not only my favorite game in the series, but my favorite game ever. Cons: 1: The game play and mechanics have an uncanny resemblance to Skyrim, almost to the point that it could seem like a rip off. 2: I am a little worried that Link doesn't have his iconic tunic and cap. I wouldn't mind if it had to be earned, but I hope it is in there. 3: I don't like the whole durability thing. It seems like it will just get annoying after a while. The one thing I liked about TLoZ is that you could get attached to your weapons. They had a significance. Now they are just something that you throw away and get another right around the corner. I am curious as to what you guys think, or if you even care.
  11. Advancing Text: Enter Fullscreen: F11 Skip: CTRL Hide Textbox: Esc Dialogue History: Mouse Wheel As far as navigating to the main menu, saving, or quitting, I usually just right-click and select from the drop-down menu.
  12. Kana Little Sister was kinda strange for me when I first started reading VNs a while back. I heard someone say that it was a VN about incest, so I said, "Why not?" because that's the only logical thing to do, right? It actually surprised me that it was more than some weird fetish novel.
  13. I hope the 18+ really will be only a few months. I played some of Grisaia no Kajitsu with the 18+ Steam patch, and I thought it was alright from what I read, but I haven't finished it.
