I'm trying to install Muv-Luv but I'm having some sort of issue. I follow the instructions and everything seems to go fine up until a point where it stops with an error i can't read. I was having a similar issue with always crashing at the same point. Mine was much later than day 14 though (the terra rout). I found the only solution was completely re-downloading it from fuwanovel. I can only guess it has something to do with some sort of file corruption.

Final open beta is so close. I finally get my code 2 days ago after signing up for the beta forever ago. I'd love to hear who's going to be on what servers and who'll be playing on the PS3.

In most cases I'd never "ignore the batman" but since this is fuwanovel and not Gotham I'll make an exception. If the gameplay and story line are good then I'll definitely make a point of playing I'm just trying to make sure I don't get into something that becomes tedious or is like another Resident Evil type, I love RE but I can only take so much.

This VN is hilarious, I love the dialogue. Part of me wants to feel bad for how Michiru gets treated but really I love it. Makina is just hilarious, i'll be finishing her route soon I think...how prepared to die should I be?

I just finished Bioshock Infinite, It was pretty awesome. I was thinking of going with The Last of Us next, any opinions on the game? Some people tell me it's great others tell me it's highly overrated.

This is harder for me than it should be. I've always been a Squaresoft fanboy, so trying to chose between any of those and other games I like is tough. In no order i'd say; Silent Hill 2 Metal Gear 4 Starcraft Chrono Cross Final Fantasy..um...IX? Yeah sure I'll go with IX. I also want to say Sonic 2, because...well..It's Sonic.

Welcome! I'm a mac user too and I agree with Nayleen, instead of getting a new pc just use a virtual machine. It'll emulate a windows OS, it just tends to use a decent amount of RAM.

Welcome fellow cool person who was also sucked in by Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai. I'd recommend Steins;Gate and Ever 17. I'd normally also say Shira Oka, it's in English like Katawa Shoujo, but I'm starting to feel like I'm the only one who liked it but i'll continue to recommend it.

Welcome fellow new person =P I'd recommend Ever 17 if you haven't gotten to it yet. You like the Chaos;head anime? I thought it was crappy honestly but the VN was good, I may have just been spoiled since I went though steins;gate first.

I got an error that looked similar to yours when I first tried playing this game. I was running windows 8 and had an issue switching to JP locale, I tried running it anyway and got that error. After switching to windows 7 and changed to JP locale I had no issues, except for a corrupt file error that popped up much later for me, which was resolved by re-downloading. My point being I think it definitely has to do with running win in JP locale. Just sharing, I hope my experience helps.

So downloading it again has gotten me past the error point. Thanks for the help, I'd be lost without my saves.

Kamidori looks cool and I like how there's a lot going on, i'll definitely get to it eventually. I was actually thinking of Little Busters next. I'd like a VN that involves me making more choices than Hoshizora no Memoria has. I appreciate the story but I like feeling like I had more to do with what's going on. I knew It meant something failed, I was just hoping it'd be easier than me having to re-download this. I'd assume something became corrupt. Would anyone happen to know where the saves are located? I don't see which file may be the saves. As for the custom font, yes I did install it.

I figured since i'll be lurking here I might as well say hi I've been using fuwanovel for a while now. I had been using TPB but the only torrents that didn't give me issues were from here. There are just so many vn's I'd like to get to and so many I don't know about that it's kind of overwhelming so i'll be depending on you all for good recommendations later. I've known about VN's for awhile but you can blame Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai for piquing my interest. I've always been more into anime and video games, give me a good rpg and an anime that'll make my brain hurt and i'm set. I won't go on a rant about it, I have a link to MAL if anyone's interested. VN wise I started with Shira Oka and Katawa Shoujo. Then I ended up here and went through Cross Channel, Steins;Gate, Chaos;Head and Ever 17. I saw there's a Hoshizora no Memoria post already but the error isn't the same as mine and I didn't want to hijack someone else's post. I've actually had no problem starting it up or anything. I'm actually into Asuha's story line. The problem is a random error message pops up after a certain line of text and then it closes Hoshizora no Memoria after I press ok. I couldn't tell you what the error message says since it's in Japanese. It looks like this: I'm running windows 7 64 through a virtual machine on my mac. My locale is set to Japanese, I downloaded the cccp plugin, updated direct x, tried running as admin. And yes I got it from fuwanovel. :\
