  1. The greatest surprise for me had to have been either Gosick or Seitokai Yakuindomo. I had never heard of either, and I simply randomly found them on MAL after searching through its list. These two proved to be some of the most entertaining animes I've watched. Gosick at first seemed a bit dull, but it slowly drew me in with its mysteries. Seitokai Yakuindomo is one of my most favorite comedy series. It doesn't have good artwork or animation, but the puns, punchlines and gags are just golden. The most disappointing for me has to be Guilty Crown. It looks amazing, and the episodes slowly built up the suspense and thrill. However, somewhere along the line I just started expecting/anticipating so much that by the time the anime reached its conclusion I thought "That's it?". I expected much more from the anime, but whether it was the plot progression, development or character development something just didn't work and I was left disappointed. It could have been amazing, but alas... something just did not work.
  2. Tequila. Seriously, that's what my first cat's name was.
  3. I'm planning on buying a 3DS just for this.
  4. I think it was pretty good. My only real complaint is that at certain times the AI that controlled friendlies was a bit... not intelligent. Other than that, it was a good game.
  5. I am a Hero Vagabond Maga Tsuki Tower of God (Manhwa) and now I'm waiting for Gantz to finally end.
  6. Chuunibyou was a nice series. The end of the first season made me feel nostalgic. Anyways, the OVA recently came out (episode 13), and a movie before season 2 are on the way as well. This is a good series to follow especially if you're looking for more content.
  7. I haven't played MUV LUV, but I definitely wouldn't mind driving these.
  8. It would be helpful if you provided a list of animes that you have already watched, but here are some suggestions. 1. Toradora (Romcom, kind of applies to numbers 2 and 3 as well.), Kore wa Zombie Desu ka (Romcom with supernatural), Seitokai Yakuindomo (Comedy) 2. Spice and Wolf (Adventure/Romance/A little bit of supernatural) 3. Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko (Slice of Life/Comedy), Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere (Action/Sci-Fi, hard to follow at first, but once you stick with it and do a little bit of research, then its pretty good.) , Guilty Crown (Action, Art and music is good, but I didn't really enjoy the story.) 4. Bakemonogatari series, Mirai Nikki
  9. Well, it has a lot of fan service, which I'm not really a fan of. However, the prequel was definitely enjoyable. The ending gave me goosebumps in a good way. If anything, play it to find out more about Houzuki. In the first game, I thought that he was an interesting character, but the fandisc developed him so well. In fact, I'm torn between Kenichi or him as to whether who is a better protagonist. Also, thank you everyone for your welcomes.
  10. Thanks everyone. G-Senjou's main route is still in my opinion the best route I've played through so far in all the VNs I've played, but as a whole it was a little lacking.
  11. I personally feel like they planned a 2-cour seeing how much they spent on marketing before the 1st season aired. Meaning that this announcement is just meant to be a little surprise that was supposed to draw attention.
  12. Oh boy... let me look through my list. In order from played a while ago to just recently: Katawa Shoujo (I played this in January before finding fuwa) G-Senjou no Maou (Set a damn high standard for future visual novels. I think it made me a bit spoiled with VNs.) Kamidori Alchemy Meister Sengoku Rance (Didn't really like it. I stopped halfway through) Hoshizora no Memoria (Looking forward to the fandisc now.) Katahane Utawarerumono Swan Song Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shoujo Sharin no Kuni, Yuukyuu no Shounenshoujo Tried to play Wanko to Kurasou a month ago, but I got an hour in before I quit. I thought that it would have taken a much more serious tone. Now, I'm about to start either Cross Channel or Symphonic Rain. Also, I've been intentionally avoiding the Key VNs and Muv Luv since I know that they're the cream of the crop, so I'm saving them for later.
  13. Season 2 has already been confirmed. Apparently, it was part of the last episode broadcast. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2013-06-21/date-a-live-anime-gets-2nd-season
  14. I'm Heyitsjiwon. Feel free to condense it any way you want to, but most people seem to prefer jiwon. I have to admit that I have been lurking this site ever since I found it (About 2 months ago... ahh how unproductive those two months have been), but since summer has started I have found myself with a lot of time. Somehow this convinced me to finally register an account and make a post. Anyways, without further ado, nice to meet you all, and I hope to get along. --- Before I forget, let me make clear that I am not really capable of translating Japanese, but I am more than capable of editing/proofreading. I'm a native English speaker, so if you have any syntax questions, vocab, or even questions on how to make something flow better, then feel free to ask.
