https://vndb.org/v14839 I haven't played it before and I know 1-10 ratings aren't the most accurate burnout of 6 current ratings it has 1 7 and the rest are 1-4s putting at like 3.5/10. I'm gonna assume it's really bad (and Vndb doesn't list an average time so it might be really short too) but someone who has actually played it might think it's good.

Gl they added achievements recently and I realized I'm going to have to start all over again if I want to even try to get half of them. I thought they'd be easy achievements like bang X girl and bang Y girl or bang X number of girls or successfully complete Y dates in 1 day. Naw.

Just finished CH1 of Dangan Ronpa tonight. Playing on mean and totally failed the final portion of the first trial (the Bullet Time Battles with the rhythm game) because I didn't pay close attention to the controls and then I ended up slamming on random buttons and instantly failing :/ I feel like a baller now guys. I consider VNs to the a medium for story telling and a genre of games with the classic 'genres' (such as action, romance, and horror) being their sub-genres. With the amount of visual novel you get mixed in with RPGs and at times point and clock mystery I consider it more a genre than a separate medium if we're talking games. It's only when we are talking about stories/writings I consider it a medium

You're pretty wrong about that. He said there were 8 images missing I have HuniePop open atm the gallery is just a generic photogallery. While it is sorted by chick it doesn't have tabs for each character. Each girl has 3 text images and 1 sex image. You unlock Venus without needing Momo or Celeste. They're be 8 blank spots without telling you what you were missing. Conquering the 8 main girls means that he has for sure collected the first 36 images. If that was all he conquered he'd be missing 16 more not 8 more.

And that's where you know you're reading bad h-scenes. A good h-scene isn't about being horny or being in love. The a switch should go off in a character during that scene that changes their dynamic. It's a lot more common in M// because power struggle is a big theme. I really didn't find any of the H-scenes in NTY!!! To be a "turn on" or whatever you want to call it but the heartache, use, abuse, broken promises, broken morale that intertwined its way through all of them made each scene worth it. It should be about a character's snapping point or that moment their dynamic changes not just some explicitly drawn scene where one of them professes their love. Pretty sure my best friend walked in on me crying my eyes out to Komine's last h-scene on his true path in Hadaka Shitsuji

Oh I think I saved the game a total if 2 times in a door puzzle in the whole time I played 999 so I should be fine in that regard, but I really appreciate the heads up. Also ugh I'm still playing Sweet Fuse and part of me is like "nerdy gamer boi is so cute" and part of me is like "this game is E for everyone 999 without the puzzles". So conflicted. Takes my favorite console game type and mixes it with an otome featuring video games, prostitutes, and cute faming boys...but the game just isn't great so far.

Not really you have to do very specific things for the last 2 ladies and there is nothing in game hinting at them so he probably didn't find them at all

I enjoy a lot of the scenes for the character development. If a story is done well then little things like how a character reacts to a certain motion says a lot about a character and a couple's relationship. At least this is true in M// related works. I find that VNDB lists like every female in a MxF scenario to be a virgin girl. M// is always so complex about their H-scenes. If a M// H-scene is about the sex and just the sex it was done wrong.

This translation though. I'm reading Sweet Fuse and the prostitute goes "you all right there Detective?" And the security guard/police detective guy goes "It's 'Detective' and you know it." To which the prostitute says 'Details! C'mon man, don't sweet the small stuff!" Like naw bro it's not detective it's detective. Idk what the detective guy is supposed to be (he was at the amusement park as a security guard that day and they keep referring to him as a police officer, a police detective, and a detective) but that translation is silly.

Not all plots work without sex. That one path in IMHHW and stories pertaining to prostitution or rape. It's the same as anything else. Some stories don't work told from a male character's POV or some stories don't work without gore.

Would be 2 at that point you only have to screw the first 8 to get Venus. Each girl has 4 CGS. 3 through text and the sex CG.

What's the game breaking glitch? I didn't mind the single save slot, the save slot was only there to allow me to turn off my DS when I went to bed and I often kept the game on and running in sleep mode while I was at school so that I could pick it up and play in my free time. I'm probably biased in liking the 3DS better because I've had this Vita for less than 24 hours, but I was weary about getting the Vita because I preferred the duo screen, fold closed to sleep feature on the DS and I rather enjoyed the control system on the DS as well. I might have just given up the RF4 game I wanted to play if I didn't like the DS so much as a system because I have a feeling a lot of the dual system games I'll end up buying for the DS > Vita. And unless they ported 999 onto the Vita in a hard copy not from their PSN I really don't want to have the game on 2 different platforms. I also don't want some game breaking bug in my game though :/ Zero Escape why would you do this to me. And what version would I get other than the US version? I didn't realize the game was a TLed game when I played it the first time but iirc there was no VA in the first game to begin with.
