Intro: Puyo puyo is a game where you create chain combos to beat your enemy. The goal is to get your enemy to reach the top. Puyos can be popped when you have 4 of the same colors chained. There are also four different variety of colors. The higher combo you pull off, the more "garbage" puyo will drop on your enemy's side.

You can download the game under Puyo Puyo VS 2

If you download it with characters you need to set them under the appropriate character names. Just go to customization under settings.

You can play this offline for practice, I recommend you select Tsu for the rules

Online play:

You can quickly register and just join the main lobby. You'll be put in a chatroom and you can find players in there. You can spectate or challenge someone.

I suggest you find someone who's relatively close to your skill level :P.

yeah part of it is trying to remember your triggers. There are two main ways of extending past 5 chains I can think off on top of my head:

1. Set up a good ground floor that utilizes all 6 tile zones, a good set-up on the 6 x 4 floor zone can earn you 3-4 chains alone. You either have to build it with towers, or a technique called GTR.

2. You have to do a double extend. Say like your main chain is a blue, and you put a red on top of that blue. Delay putting a blue on top of that red, and instead put a yellow/green. Then you can put a red + blue on top of that yellow/green. This gives you more space to expand. You just have to remember to fill your triggers on top of the last chain extension you just made.

By the way ~there's a chain simulator here: http://www.puyonexus.net/chainsim/

http://bit.ly/17g48Dq   here's a quick simulation I made, just press start. Red is the trigger

http://bit.ly/1zYsddk  Tower simulation, note that I extended past 5 chains on the very right side by puting that L shaped green on top of the two red, then adding two reds on top of it. After that you get all of that space in the middle to work with.

Thanks for the tip! I managed a 7-chain combo after many tries via tower building :D

(though the field is messed up after that :nervous:)
