I get much more freedom by doing partial translations. I mean, translating some of the text dense parts was a bit painful. I don't plan to skip text for Clover Day's for the sake of not changing the original product, but I think I should for my next game. I'm still experimenting with this. aideed Posted March 18, 2014 Share Posted March 18, 2014 Hello, I'm attempting this translation model. It basically involves: 1) Using VNR, and Youtube for easy accessibility. 2) Fast release. Translation will be out before the complete game is released in Japan. (Within 1 month of the trial version release) Of course, all translations will be partial. You need 2 things: 1) Download and install VNR. More info and download link on this website. 2) Download and install Clover Day's original trial game. Download it from somewhere like here. You'll probably need to set Japanese unicode, or use Applocale. After you have installed the two, drag the game into the VNR spring box. Here is a nice VNR guide, from Sakamichi.
