MiyukiMiya
So, I can't seem to get any of the SonoHana games to run at all. I get no error messages or anything. I've thrown the exe in AppLocale, ran it in compatibility mode, but literally nothing happens. Thanks in advance for any help you can give. Nosebleed
Applocale doesn't work. Change your non unicode to japanese first. Read this FAQ on how to do it. Make sure you're not seeding the torrent and that the files in the directory are not read only. Select all the files > right click > properties > uncheck read-only SonoHana crashes often in Windows 7. My solution for it and most of other use's solution is run it on windows XP compatibility. That usually fixes the crashes. Try that after changing your non unicode to japanese.
MiyukiMiya
Ah, alrighty, thanks. I'll give that a try.
Nosebleed
If it's still crashing you can try a re-check of the files for corruption Open your torrent client, make sure the sonohana torrent is there but says finished (right click on it > stop) and then right click it and chose force re-check
MiyukiMiya
The thing is, I don't think it's even getting to the point of crashing. It's just not running at all. Unless that's what you mean, anyway.
Nosebleed
No that wasn't what i meant. Sorry for the misinterpretation. Run as administrator?
MiyukiMiya
Yep. I've tried all the usual stuff. And I'm running Win7, but I probably should have said that earlier.
Nosebleed
It certainily is odd the game not even starting. I've never seen that problem with SonoHana before. Did you do all the steps i pointed out above including the re-check?
MiyukiMiya
I'm not actually home, so I can't actually do anything with it now. I did do the re-check though back when it first happened.
Nosebleed
I really have no other clues. Let the tech guy Luch pop up, he might have a clue.

MiyukiMiya
So, I tried everything suggested, and none of it made a difference.
Luch
Whelp, I tried to take a look at this, but I didn't manage to replicate the situation that you are in. Everything I tried resulted in various different error messages.Well, try moving the game folder into the root of any hard drives you might have (example C:\SonoHana) and delete everything in the SAVE folder. MiyukiMiya
Well, neither of those things worked, unfortunately.
