Need Volunteer: uploaders for NDS games to the fuwa site

There's still a lot of nintendo DS games that need to be uploaded, and I was wondering if anyone would like to to help hunt them down and upload them to the shared seedbox? Originally I was going to save them until the portable section launches, but it seems that won't be happening anytime soon. So I figured we should just upload them in the normal 'browse' section like all the others. The job is to find the roms, english patch them, then upload them together with an emulator with the best compatibility.

If it says (patch) after the game name, it means it's a fan translation.

Questions

• Q: Wait we're going to upload commercially translated releases as well?
  
• A: Yes. because these are old games for an old platform, with the exception of 999 which was published in 2010 but got a reprint in 2012. and because it's principled. I do not use half-assed standards of morality where uploading Japanese games is ok, but uploading English games is not. They are both infringement on somebody's monopoly privilege.
  

• Q: I don't agree with packaging the emulator inside the torrent. The user won't have the latest version.
  
• A: I figured the DS emulators have been around for a long time so they should be solid now. and so as long as it works well, it shouldn't be a problem. We can always link to the emulator dev site to point people to the latest version.
  

• Q: Which DS emulator are we going with?
  
• A: I have no idea. whichever one works best (best frame rates, best compatibility, etc).
  

• Q: Are we supporting DS emulator for Mac as well?
  
• A: That would be nice, but you would need a mac to test it, which no one does.
  

• Q: What about Linux?
  
• A: Yes if you have linux to test it. but it means even more work. and I will be mad amazed if I could even find helpers for the window releases.
  

• Q: Who will make the pages on the fuwa site?
  
• A: You don't have to, but you can do that too, thanks to the new admin panel written by nayleen. It's now extremely easy to use. If you don't want to upload and just want to create pages, make banners etc, PLEASE help me with that! It would be a tremendous help for me and the other uploaders.

I could work on uploads but I want to work on mashifoni project more (I'm almost done with Airi route). And also because I'm supposed to be making better progress, but looking after fuwa had tied up most of my free time lately.

Still not sure with bundling emulator. There is no such thing as a 100% all complient emulator.

But I do understand that it is to make it easier. Guess jus important to try and do some research.

don't forget Ghost Trick.VNDB doesn't consider it a VN,but I think it is just as much as most of the Adventure games released on DS.
