I think you are likely missing a codec. Try downloading and installing a codec pack like: http://download.cnet.com/Media-Player-Codec-Pack-Plus/3000-13632_4-75683928.html You can also try and removing the read only option but that really shouldn't be giving you any problems (works fine with it on my machine).
