It should be common knowledge by now that Key's Common Routes are humor-based introductory orientations to get you friendly with the girls and get closer with them... as you do with most if many harem VNs. This is basic fundamental Visual Novel 101. Furthermore, such a technique has proved to be successful among many people, if not you, hence it isn't really as pointless as you indicated, but rather your taste is pointless in the usage of judging this piece of work.

Just to add, not every good story has to deal with progression and character development. Stuff like Azumanga Daioh and Nichijou are considered funny for a reason. And then of course, there's the kind of slice-of-life that does nothing but have pointless meandering throughout the series because it's relaxing. It's fun. Like I said, lighten up; not everything has to be srs bns to be a good story.

Funny enough, I'm with the prude Tiagofvarela on this one. The h-scenes in Grisaia never appealed to me anyway. I never mixed the appreciation of good stories with porn, so porn mixed with good stories are rather 'meh' to me. Furthermore, premarital underage sex (at least definitely underage for Makina's case) never felt romantic to me. First dates, watching the moon, watching a horror movie with your girlfriend, and other corny date-ish stuff like that are more fun than watching two people fuck away with cum and sweat. Like I said, porn and good stories separated. It's not a pretty sight to mix them, at least for my own preference. Besides, the extra replacement scenes might be fun. They might further develop the characters for all we know. Realta Nua's Fate scenes gave us that epic Saber-Dragon, for example. Sure, the other two routes sucked with their extra scenes, but who cares? My favorite character is Saber. But yeah, Grisaia might have something like that. Michiru's sex scenes always felt ooc to me anyway, so it'd be nice to have extra scenes to give her the much-needed character growth in her route.

I get what you are saying, but yeah, you'd be right in saying that passing her off as a loli would be a disservice to her character, though I can't really blame you, considering that you're merely on the common route, where her depth wasn't really explored yet. In fact, compared to most lolis, she was much more 'straight' and 'stoic' than say, Komari. Many lolis are horny for some reason (excluding Komari); Kud is far from that. And it's not just the sex. Kud is more 'serious' than most lolis with a great sense of humor (Komari in this case); Kud don't do jokes much.

More like specific standards. People can really underestimate the things that satisfy a rapist... surprisingly enough for the nukige industry. Like this kind of bullshit. A joke of a rape. Honestly, it undervalues the horrors of rape more so than hardcore rape scenes that take rape realistically/seriously. Also, demon-rape is boring. If it really does involve the story as an integral part of the battles/RPG, then it's better than the standard JRPG I've seen in VNs.
