    That is weird. I checked myself aswell and the choice did pop out. The other weird thing is that these 2 choices are only a few clicks away of each other.

     

    Just follow the walktrough normally, it wont affect anything.

     

    EDIT: Oh damn it you already figured out. This thing doesn't always tell you when someone responds to a thread ._.

    I have my first newbie question:

     

    In the book Japanese from Zero volume 1, I'm learning in this chapter the grammatical usage of wa, nan, desu, ka and along with the usage of dore, docchi, kore, sore, are (and their docchi counterparts).

     

    It suddenly asks me to translate this sentence into English: Kuruma wa desu ka. 

     

    Up until now I haven't seen any examples of something this abrupt. I looked up google examples for "topic + wa desu ka" of it's usage but no luck. All I can think of is this translation: The car? Feels like something is missing.

     

    Am I right? Or is this a typo (this book is known for having a lot of minor typos)

     

    Ok I'll brag about what I know.

     

    車はですか

     

    Yeah, it means : the car/s? Obviously it lacks the context so this question by itself is pretty weird. です is just the polite form of saying the sentence and か is the ? mark, は is the topic particle.

     

    I don't even know if this is called bragging, I just wanted to be acknowledged :C

     

    Anyways, this is basic stuff so is not hard. Well I know my explanation is fine but don't have any confidence when I explain myself in public when everyone knows more about this than me >.>

    started grisaia a few days ago. im not sure what route i want to go through first. i read that i should start with amane a few times on this forum but i have zero interest in her.

     

    Maybe you should go from "interesting" to "wow"?

     

    Yumiko/Michiru>Makina/Sachi>Amane?

     

    I think it would be like this. Just my opinion tough.

    Holy shit. I looked up KanjiDamage and it freaking hilarious, thanks for sharing. The explanations are quite comforting xD That guys knows what he's doing.
     

     Put another way, if you know the 'balls' and 'box' radicals, you can easily make a mnemonic to help you remember the kanji for country: "A country is a big box where the citizens keep all their balls." Then you can chuckle because you just said "balls."

    this is most probably a problem with the browser or the plugin you're using. what browser are you using? and I assume you're using stylish?

    also try switching to the default vndb theme on your profile. I made this theme in conjunction with that, so some unchanged stuff might look weird on some non-default themes.

    and one more thing, check if you have other styles or scripts applied for vndb.org

     

    Well it's not really a problem or a bother, it's just something I wanted to point out. I got the tought that it may be just a silly issue.

     

    My browser is Chrome and yes , your later assumptions are correct , I'm using stylish. Don't know if there is another way of installing the style, my rebel instintcs don't got me anywhere [/joke]

    Not another styles or scripts applied and default skin set on. 

     

    I guess the conclusion is that it's something on my side. Oh well, I guess I'll have to throw away my PC and get a beautiful and economiccoughcough Mac. US joke of course, I dont think anyone here owns a Mac and if they do, then they better check if it's still there.

     

    Oh wow I'm getting off topic and I think I'm running out of english for the day.

    meanwhile on my vndb:

    I use a custom CSS style with a browser plugin called Stylish. Specifically this style.

    I made it a few minutes ago, and it's pretty with a few fancy animations. NSFW pics are hidden until you hover the cursor on them. I also fixed the messy tags by dividing it into 4 columns and adding a color bar system (so it's easier to determine which are content, technical, or sexual). Do check it out if you use Stylish.

     

    The styles overlap each other for 1/2 of a second everytime the page is loaded. Don't know if that is just how is supposed to happen because they are actually 2 styles overlapping each other or the problem is on my end.

    So I have a silly question and pardon me if this is not where I am supposed to be asking: In the fuwa site it says this: Yukie + Chris + Momoyo + Wanko + teacher route patch released, Miyako route 85% translated and it also say this: 

    • Translation Progress: 50%

    And the question is: What's after Miyako's route?. If I am not mistaken these 5 girls are the main heroines and the last one is almost completed. The 50% progress title is wrong or there is a lot more of the story to translate?
