Best Girl In all seriousness though I loved clannad. I think it is a wonderful story and my favourite routes aside from afterstory are probably Yukine's and Misae's. It was always fun trying to get a high combo chain. However I don't know. even though I enjoyed the VN, I still prefer rewrite and Little Busters over clannad out of keys works.

I didn't like the adaptation either but honestly I don't think it would have been considered that bad if it wasn't an adaptation. Sure, I was cringing half the time due to how bad it was, I know people who haven't read the VN at all and loved it. On the plus side... at least it wasn't the worst VN>anime adaptation. Regardless I have heard many good things about sayas route too. Looking forward to it.

I agree that Kurugayas route requires more thinking than the others. I may not have found it lacklustre but I was a lot better with more context.even so it is one of my favourite routes so I may be a little biased. As for kengo, I think he unlocks for baseball when you finish komaris route. He has a little cameo there that signals his... Other side?

Concept dump. It is mainly based around imagination and flight I guess.

My personal preferences would be either Amane or Sachi. An omnibus format won't be too bad but I can't see too many people liking it aside from me.

For me Kurugaya's route was one of the best in my opinion. It contributes greatly to refrain but it has a different take on the secondary plot.

I see where you're coming from. However I am the type of person who believes that a relationship can develop simply by being around someone else. I mean, I talk to my friends just because I want to. I learn new things about them and just to share memories. So I guess our views on this simply differ.

Not really arguing just a little curious. As a character driven novel, isn't a large part of the emotional impact also based upon how long you spend with the characters and how much you interact with them? If so, wouldn't that make a lot of the novel partake in the tear jerking purpose? o.0

That is one of the reasons I liked the VN though. You live every day as it goes along. It is probably the closest thing to slice of life there is because it doesn't skip anything. Also it may have just been me but I have found the common route to be very 'revealing' when you finish refrain. I have just found so many obvious things that I have looked past before completing it once. So personally I have found the many pointless things to be very fruitful with a little context.

I am. I just haven't gone to sleep yet.

I am feeling tired because I have been outside most of today.

I shall go for Fate/Stay night as well as Grisaia. Those are my main two I am looking forward to however I am also keen on watching a few other slice/life or comedy type ones too.

Welcome to the party! Kotori's route gives a basic rundown on the general situation rewrite is based around. So it is best not to skip it. It does get boring though.
