  1. I like a lot of the older anime - namely Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. I also liked Soul Eater - both the manga and anime, even though both have pretty different plots at the end. Bleach is a favorite as well, and so is One Piece. Naruto... I like it, but IDK if it ranks up with me as high as the previous ones on this list do. I liked the Rosario + Vampire manga, but the anime.... well, I couldn't get past the first six episodes - the anime was basically mindless fan-service. Not that it's a bad thing, mind you - but sometimes, you get beat over the head with it so much that you actually stop enjoying it, and that's what happened to me with the anime. It made me stop enjoying the fan-service - that's about as big a sin with this stuff as you can get if you ask me. The Majikoi manga adaptation was nice, but I still didn't think it perfectly captured the visual novel - but it certainly got it closer then the anime in my opinion.
  2. Crap - that sucks. He didn't get anything compromised - no stolen identity or pinched bank-account or anything like that? I had a relative that went through that - got their family's bank account hacked buying diapers for their little kid at a Wal Mart. It's not fun to watch, so I can't even imagine what going through it must be like. Tell him we (at least, I'm assuming I can speak for everyone on this) wish him best of luck.
  3. They actually talked about that - some of the reasons they've been quiet about it as of late is because they're debating if they should record voice-overs for the characters, and B) they're deciding if they should update/alter the erotic scenes/elements.
  4. I came to breathe life back into the topic - like everyone else, it seems.
  5. So, anyone heard the rumors that Tsukihime will be re-made? And that they might include a route for Satsuki Yumizuka? And, on an unrelated note, does anyone think that, if a remake is in the works, that it was made because of that horrible... er, rumor, of an anime? On yet another unrelated note, what changes would you have made to the original besides improved artwork? Would you have added more endings? Changed pre-existing ones? I personally would have added options where, if you really effed up a friendship with one of the girls, or didn't try to make it amicable as possible, that you have to end up killing the rival lover because you passed the point of no return with talking them down into accepting your choice, or that they die because you made a specific choice in of itself. Like say: I felt that kind of thing could have been in Ciel and Arcueid's respective routes, since the two of them were actively trying to obliterate each-other and undermine each-other's efforts, as both had different goals, and you end up killing, or at least helping kill, whichever of the two you didn't end up with. I mean: Although, even though I think it would highlight the more tragic elements - losing a good friend/potential love to death's grip because of a different or potentially wrong choice - I can guess that some would complain about it having too much in common with the other routes, which I can understand. Lastly... which of the heroines did you prefer from Tsukihime? I picked Ciel (True route ending.) (Though with how I brought up wanting an option where Arcueid dies, you probably found that a rather obvious sentence, and I'm ready for whatever response people are likely even now making towards my - and I fully admit this - dislike of the character. Or maybe that's just me being paranoid). Addendum: Found the proof of the Remake! http://seventhstyle.com/2014/02/07/tsukihime-visual-novel-remake-artwork/ Though, I have to admit, IDK what to feel about the character designs - I like them, that's for sure, but like the author of the post said, I can't help but notice how close a resemblance the redesigned Arcueid has to Saber from Fate/Stay Night.
  6. ... I seriously need to read these posts all the way through before I open my mouth. ^///^ But putting that aside - that's GREAT NEWS!!! Although, I thought Agrave was coming first? Or was Miyako made priority again because more progress had been done on it compared to Agrave? Barring that, does this mean you're going to release Miyako separately, or wait till Agrave is done and release them side-by-side, just in case you were right and Yandere resurrects? I know you said "Miyako in 2 months," but does that mean a confirmed release-date, or will you wait until more progress is done on Agrave for a release so that the two can be released close together? Or will you cross that bridge when you come to it? Ah, hell with it - still going to celebrate the news!!!
  7. Back from a cross-country trip... to find that one of my more anticipated VN's, Griasia no Meikyuu, has been postponed on translation because the TL got conscripted into another project and had to shift gears to get that one moving before he/she can come back to it. Still, at least (s)he said where (s)he's going and that there will be a delay, which is more then we got with Yandere's work on Majikoi. And on the matter of the Griasia games, FrontWing just put up an official site for the Griasia no Kaijitsu anime adaptation, although there's little information on it besides a pair of announcement posts regarding the site's actual launch. Bouncing back to the topic of updates, has Kosuna released any updates on either Miyako or Agrave yet? Or is he waiting till there's enough to make a substantial update about? Cause TL work for two routes probably takes a while, I'm guessing.
  8. Play Miyako's route (either when it is translated, or by learning japanese). She plays a role in that too - and I think your opinion of her might change. Plus:
  9. Ah, that's just how he starts off. He was raised by an asshole, so he became one himself - only way he could survive in the yakuza was to live life by the acquisition of material wealth. But let me tell you, he warms up pretty nicely to whichever girl he ends up with - provided you know which options to pick.
  10. Noticed that, huh? Not surprised, though. I think it was a different artist, perhaps commissioned to make something - you can tell by how her facial design is a bit different - well, okay, quite a bit different. Makes her look... half loli to me. Her body design is different too - closer to Grisaia No Kaijitsu's character designs, I think, or in my opinion. Still, give them points for accuracy with her attire and creativity points for the "shaft-mounting." ... I'm going to Hell for that "shaft" comment - I just know it. Especially since I have no clue if a bow can actually be classed as a "shaft."
  11. http://www.hobbyheart.com/maji-de-watashi-ni-koishinasai-dakimakura-hugging-pillow-cover-p-1337.html#.U0erZlfdwgg Sorry the reply took so long - had to find something appropriate Then again... maybe a group photo would be better. On a more serious note - 3,000 posts! At this rate, we're going to break 200 pages before June rolls around! Makes you realize how passionate people can be So, here's to 3,000 more!
  12. The very next post after this get's us to 3,000! I forfeit the right since I'm still a newcomer here. That, and I'm curious to see who it will be if they're given the opportunity to take it
  13. So, does knowing what to expect take away from it at all? Or is it still an enjoyable ride?
  14. We're all shooting the breeze while waiting for the next progress update, with general VN talk and references to the game and occasional comparisons to other VN's an so-forth. Everything from intellectual conversation to basic chat about Majikoi or a VN in it's class, to the... *occasional* off-topic conversation, as we all eagerly await the next TN update about Kosuna's progress from either Azangar or Ouraibaa Hjyurra - as they're the only ones that have any clue how to contact our typically silent Translator when he makes his periodic updates about the steady progress of the TN. And we're about seven pages away from breaking the 3,000 mark. That about cover it?
  15. I kinda doubt it - it looks more like a wall poster to me. Though, again, never seen it before, so don't quote me on that.
