  1. Click Here to Play in Browser -> http://stonepug.com/trauma-suburbs-vignette/ SYNOPSIS: A young girl decides that she can no longer accept her circumstances. What follows is at once cynical, absurd, and, eventually, tragically uplifting. Click Here to Play in Browser -> http://stonepug.com/trauma-suburbs-vignette/ We are proud to announce that, in our continued effort to make our VigNettes better, we have added voice acting to this short piece. We highly recommend audio for the best experience. We suggest using Chrome or Firefox. It works best on Desktop but will function well enough on mobile. Don't worry, content is Safe For Work. WARNING music will play on load (there is a mute option). Play time: 5 - 10 minutes A VigNette - or short Visual Novel - is a browser based short Visual Novel that we release once a month at Stonepug Studios. Maybe it would be more aptly called a short Novelette, or VigNovelette, but that just doesn't seem as clean... Our normal release schedule for new VigNettes is the first Friday of each month, however, since the first Friday isn't until April 7th this month we decided to give our readership a little something extra to get through those long lonely nights. To check out our past VigNette's head over to http://stonepug.com/ -> Previous VigNettes. Once again we extend a hearty thank you to all of you who have taken the time to read our incoherent ranting and rambling, you are the best kind of enablers. Oh, and don't worry - Aurora will be featured in another VigNette on our regularly scheduled release date Friday April 7th as well. So stay tuned for that!
  2. Hello everybody! We made a short, comedic visual novel (we call them VigNette's, it's unclear whether this term will ever catch on) titled... I Want Your Cookies: VDay Special SYNOPSIS Vivian, Aurora, and Kathleen all have their hearts set on the handsome Asimov for Valentine's Day, but who will Asimov choose? The answer probably has something to do with cookies... Click Here to Play in Browser -> http://stonepug.com/stonepug-valentines-day-special-vignette/ We suggest using Chrome or Firefox. Play time: 10 - 20 minutes . This is our second VigNette. If you enjoyed this one you can find our first one at http://stonepug.com/vignettes/. If you could, let us know what you think. We'd love to hear your feedback (good and bad). What did you think of the characters, story, and art? Do you like this format of short visual novels/ VigNette's? Would you prefer a downloadable game or is the browser format alright? We here at Stonepug Studios thought we would try this format since we couldn't find anyone currently releasing short VN's in browser, but if you know of anybody else doing this we'd like to hear about it. Thanks!
