  1. To change topic a bit. Again... Just curious. Do you guys have any others VNs in mind which would you like to be translated in English? I'm sure there are a lot of great/very good untranslated VNs i don't know about. And not only me. And even they won't be translated ever, it doesn't do them bad and they're still playable, though it's not very comfortable to read. For example, japanese won't be able to stop me from reading these VNs:

    1. Da Capo II Plus Communication \

REALLY like them. I'll read them no matter what.

    2. Da Capo II Spring Celebration    /

    3. Green Green

    4. Of course, another Minatosoft's creation "Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore De", which anime i've just started to watch. Though i'm sure VN is much more interesting as always.

    5. To Aru Kagaku no Railgun (PSP). It'll be problematic to read this. Only if through PSP emulator with translate aggregator, and there is still problem to find this game... Khm, yeah...It is a very big problem((

    Do you have anything?

    1. The other Majikoi VNs.

    2. Fate/Hollow Ataraxia

    3. The untranslated Taimanin Asagi ones. (Don't judge me! >.>)

    4. Anything that involves tentacles. (I said don't judge me!! <.<)

I gotta read Da Capo at some point, but I get distracted sooooo eeeeeeeeeeasily. >.<

  2.  i dont really remember the place i got it from, just where i got the partial english patch. is there a place that i should re-download it from?

EDIT: I tried copying the voice packs like you said and it worked right away!. thank you so much.

BTW how much do i miss without the voices? I feel like it would add a lot more emotion to the story and such

    You're welcome. ^_^

  3. p.s.on a more technical note, how do i get the voice's to play? I havent installed the game and im playing it from the iso's and i cant seem to figure out how to get the voices to play. I would be grateful for any help at all, thanks again to the translating group!

That is... the weirdest problem I've ever heard of. Well, first off, what download did you use? Can you give a link? It's just that I've never heard of anyone playing from the .iso itself. Usually you use the .iso to install the game, then play it from your install directory. If you haven't done that, then try. You might also check the config and see if the voices are disabled.

Edit: So I just downloaded Majikoi from Sukebei, and there are two files for mounting. One contains the game setup, game.exe, ect ect, and the other only contains the voices. I think you should install the game to your computer, and even if it still doesn't have voices, just mount the other file and copy the voice packs to the install directory.

  4. I feel the same toward Miyako, seeing her all depressed during the other routes made me feel bad about it !

How do they call this ? Friendzone it is ? ^^

It wasn't so bad during the other routes, to be honest. It was only in Mayucchi's that she seemed really depressed. The others she was just like, "Wait till the cuckoo sings". At least, that's how I remember it.

  5. Am I the only one that did Momoyo at the end? Mary Sue aren't my thing though xD

    Kazuko best girl :c

There's a certain route in Majikoi S where she's not Mary Sue anymore. :)

Well, different people - different tastes) I really like Chris's route. And Chris herself too, especially after finishing story. But i have to say that in another routes she sometimes isn't look like a good person to build relationships with, but HER route - is exeption. It's very interesting for me and Chris herself looks very cute in it))

The only route I actually liked her in were her own. Same with Mayucchi. They just don't have that dynamic with the rest of the Family yet, so their interactions are always that of newcomers in the other routes.

Trust me, Wanko's route throws out "thinking of her as a pet character" out the window. It is probably the most emotional route so far translated.

Hey, I have a question. Other than Wanko's route, what do you guys think is the most emotional moment in Majikoi? For me, it would be in Mayucchi's route, when Miyako is sitting on top of the Secret Base building, wondering what she's "missing", and Momoyo consoles her. She just seemed so... sad. Like, Miyako doesn't get sad like Wanko, but it was just like she was... hopeless. Idk, maybe it was just the music. >.<

  6. Does anyone know if the Miyako afterstory will be translated too?

Waiting on the patch, excited like there's no tomorrow.

Mid january is a good release date I'm assuming?

    Thank you

Kosuna said that he'll probably translate everything, seeing as people would prefer to have the game fully translated. (This includes all the side routes, such as Gakuto and Mayo.)

As for what the translation order will be after Miyako, I cannot say. Either Miyako After or Agave, and after those it's anyone's guess.

Also, can't comment on the release date, since I don't actually know how far we are. Kosuna only sends me portions of the script at a time, and I only do it at school, so I haven't done anything this Christmas. For all I know, we could be halfway through translating Agave.

  7. Sofhouse Seal is master of Nukige works XD.

    http://vndb.org/v10362

The recent one, Touma Koujirou (I FRICKEN LOVE IT. Except for the murder CG, it was pretty gruesome.

Even more so because it happens right after the sex scene, to your partner

    )

There are MORE animated scenes than usual for Softhouse Seal, and the art looks very polished here. I love it. I can't wait for the sequel to get translated!

Btw, Youko = best girl XD. (Especially the first scene.

Very nice, very loving etc...Too bad it was a DAMN DREAM. DAMN IT. And her ending was a bit unsatisfying, would be better if they just remade the first scene, IMO,)

    Also, http://vndb.org/v2191

Another one i found to be really, really funny and interesting. Black supreme leader...Lols. And one OST in particular in this one, I absolutely love.

    ----

About the topic, I'm glad someone picked it up. Poor Miyako.

Touma Koujirou looked very promising, but I found it to be very short and without much variation. It was fun to puzzle out who was the killer, but I think that it was average at best. Loved the animation, though, and art was pretty good.

  8. this one is the best nukige i know no  brutal rapes as such

    http://vndb.org/v6359

No brutal rape?! What do you take me for, a pussy?! Find me some hardcore rape gangbang with nipple fucking and ahego!

    Lol, just kidding.

Jokes aside, I have that one on my PC already, but I wasn't able to get into it. The whole spiritual/exorcism genre doesn't appeal to me at all. While I am a big fan of the tentacle and futanari genre, which that nukige has, I still got bored really quickly. Might give it a try after I finish Fate/Stay Night (Heaven's Feel), and a few others.

On the subject of tentacles and futa, I really wish that "Milles, Knight of Anal Tyranny" would be translated soon. MangaGamer has had it on "Release Date: Pending" in forever. >.<

  9. Kamidori is a lot better than Monster Girl Quest. Kamidori game may be shorter if you compare with the three (or not if you play all the routes) but the characters really look like "something", the story is great and the CG are just wonderful and very neat.

True, but Kamidori was made by a real company with normal funding. Monster Girl Quest is good in a similar sense as Katawa Shoujo: It's a game with very low-level funding, yet it is of quite good quality.

  10. I tend to pass on second seasons of anime I didn't really like, the same goes for visual novels or manga, so I can give only my opinion about the first game. That doesn't change the fact that I didn't like the first one, and if I liked the second or third one, that won't make me change my opinion on the first one, as they're not the same in every aspect xD (and if they are, I'm already guessing I won't like them either). Clannad is a masterpiece, in my opinion, from the first episode to the last one from After Story though. Don't take me wrong, though, I'm not saying that it's a bad game or things like that.

The thing is, they're one game split into 3. Well, if you don't like it, that's fine, but I think you should try and complete the game.

  11. I can say without a doubt that my tastes are really different from the most of you, seeing almost all of you liked Monster Girl Quest as if it was a masterpiece, and I can't think of it like that, ever xDD just my personal opinion, though :c

I can't play them without voices now... It's really hard (luckily, I began with Katawa and Koihime, and after that the voiced ones).

Monster Girl Quest is a great game. Sure, it's hard as hell to beat off to (Excuse my language.), but it still has a great story, great characters, pretty good battling system, and LOTS of play time.

Yeah Monster Girl quest is freaking great !

And I don't like Katawa shoujo at all.  :(

Azengar, you just re-earned my respect. :D

  12. Merry Christmas everyone! :D

And happy holidays to you all :)

As for your question, I wouldn't say it's simliar to Majikoi (like hell it is), but I'm recently playing the Monster Gilr Quest series (1-3). I'm still on the first one but I really like the story :)  Also it has a nice (but weird) little battle system, so there are some RPG elements. There are...well...lot of H-Scenes as well but these are rather optinal (you got to lose the battles for those).

I also like Katawa Shoujo. It's a VN about a boy who has a really rare heart problem and therefore has to life at a boarding school for handicapped. I really like how strong the handicapped heroines are :)

PS: If there's some bad grammar or something, blame it on the Google Translator ^^'

Yeah, Monster Girl Quest is fucking great. Great story and pretty good characters. It also caters to basically every fetish out there, real or imaginable. Didn't like Katawa Shoujo as much as everyone else, though. Sure, for a completely free game, it's great, but there's no voices, the art is mediocre, and the romances not all that amazing. But, as I said, for a free game, it's pretty good.

  13. as i posted before - I dont liek conclusion of Kazuko route (its not really a happy ending for me, so is the Miyako route), so in the end I think i liked Yukie route most, even as i liek Kazuko and Miyako far more than Mayumayu. Anyway the whole game is briliant as maybe the second best VN out there, after god of all VN Fate Stay Night, 3rd place Sengoku Ranc, or if we speak about pure VN without RPG elements - Demonbane.

    PS. Merry Christmas !

PS2. Anyoine could recomend any Vn similar to Mojikoi, hopefully one that is beeing translated or is popular enough that it is planed for translation ?

Fate/Stay Night and Sengoku Rance are fucking brilliant.

Try "Shuffle! Tick! Tack!". Can't say I've given it a proper try, nor that I really know anything about the VN, since I only skimmed through a single route when I was just hoping for a very hot ero scene. (My fetishes require the use of a certain "hidden" hole, which this game seems too vanilia to use. Still very annoyed that Momo doesn't use that place, either. >.<) Gonna replay it at some point from the beginning, 'cause the atmosphere certainly seems to be there. There's a really funny character who hits on every girl he sees. Kinda like what Kazama would be if, instead of adventuring, he chased girls.

And of course, there's also "EROGE! Sex and Games Make Sexy Games", which is pretty good, if you can ignore the single scat scene that every heroine apparently has.

Merry Christmas, and happy eroge hunting! :)

Edit: I also quite enjoyed "We Love Master!" and "Koihime Musou"

  14. I look at it like this ... If I had my wallet with $50,000 in cash sitting on my mantle, and one of my drunken idiot friends knocked it into the fireplace on accident ... Well, sure, I'd realize it was an accident and forgive the accident, but there is no way that bitterness would just disappear. Everytime I saw them, I'd be reminded of it. Regardless of the outcome or how justifiable forgiveness may be, I'm still going to be angry at them for the rest of my life deep down. Misunderstandings happen, but that doesn't mean they're automatically forgotten - especially when it was caused by someone's characteristically thoughtless or selfish behavior that they have a history of.

    That perception is slightly off.

Kazuko would've failed no matter what. The point is that she doesn't have the talent, and Chris was just the messenger. Even if she had landed a hit, she would still fail at some other point.

You would've lost the wallet no matter what, and the Kazama Family knows that. Besides, if your friend spent months in the hospital feeling guilty over it, wouldn't you let it go and forgive him?

P.S. Yay for double post because I don't know how to edit in a qoute to an existing post! :D

  15. haha, well i suppose i will do her route after Yuki's :) so far it's going pretty good!

Question though, does Kokoro have a route in this game? or is it only in the sequel that she has a route?

She has a route in Majikoi S, but no the original. Majikoi S focuses on the S class. (Duh.)

Also, I just wanna warn you that the routes in S are more ero-focused. Minatosoft wanted to see how it would do, but since it has gotten worse reviews and feedback (Still a very good eroge, mind you!), they went back to the romance and character focus from the original in their newer title, Majikoi A.

  16. I haven't touched Majikoi since June, but Chris' actions still stand out as one of the things that emotionally moved me the most about it. That is, strong feelings of anger.

I still hate that woman and think realistically there's no way that tight group of friends would have been so forgiving, even if they understood that Chris didn't know the stakes of the tournament. Maybe they would have tried to forgive&forget for a few weeks, but it all would have fallen apart in short order. That is a LOT of bitterness in the air shared amongst a tight Japanese 'family' that feed off each other, pushing against a snobby foreigner that already said their secret base should be demolished and nearly (should have been) kicked out on the spot at that point.. The "respect for a warrior" angle at the end would never truly carry enough weight to counterbalance all of Chris' disrespect.

    Well...

It's stated that Chris felt really, really, really bad for what she did, so I imagine that it would be hard to hate her. You know, just like when you get angry and wanna blame someone, but get discouraged if said someone blames themselves and feels even worse than you do. I imagine it was kinda like that for the Kazama family.
