the last known version of ppsspp that worked for me was 0.9.8 (-651-g63da119 - ULJM06044 : AMNESIA LATER (I typed out everything on the title bar of PPSSPP))

the "official translation" is for amnesia: memories, which I have on steam the vn I am trying to read is the sequel to amnesia: memories. amnesia: later but yes, it's that one

*long sigh* that's all fantastic, but again, my problem is NO SUBTITLE BOX WILL SHOW UP AT ALL. THAT MEANS THERE IS NO JAPANESE TO PUT INTO TA! ok? NO TEXT SHOWS UP N O T E X T A T A L L.

ok, I went to choose the settings you mentioned, and they're already on... just to make sure things are clear, my problem is that NO TEXT of ANY TYPE shows up in the subtitle box, in fact the subtitle box ITSELF will not show up.

translation aggregator? where do I get that?

honestly.....anything is fine by me, I just need SOME SORT of subtitle to show up be it english or japanese

I've got the same problem, I'm trying to play amnesia later (and amnesia crowd) but no matter what I try, the subtitles won't show up! there's just NOTHING! I think the problem is VNreader won't open as admin, even though I click "open as an administrator" PLEASE HELP!!! I have been trying to get this to work for THREE DAYS NOW!
