It's a very useful trick to keep in mind.  If a webpage is acting funky in your browser, the first thing to try is reloading the page.  The second thing is to restart the browser.  And the third thing is usually to try a different browser.

Thanks again for the suggestion, worked perfect. Don't know why Edge decided to make it into a ZIP File, but whatever.

Had no such issue.  If you've tried multiple different browsers and you still see the problem, then contact Sekai support.

This may just be crazy enough to work. I downloaded Firefox and the first file is now downloading as Z01, rather than a Zip File. Crossing my fingers.

  3. Bought Labyrinth this morning, but haven't been able to do anything with it yet. I'll ask here, is anybody else having issues with the downloads? Specifically, as I understand it, I should have 4 Z0? Files, and one Zip File. I'm not getting the Z01 File though, with both Parts 1 and 5 downloading the Zip File. I wasted a few of my downloads before realizing what was going on. :(

  4. I just finished the True Ending for Flowers Printemps tonight. I think I'll wait a bit before going back to play the other side.
Now I can go back to Steins;Gate, where nothing bad at all could happen to...

... Mayuri. *Remembers where he left off*... :(

  5. The realization hit me recently that Amazon JP offers global shipping on a lot of stuff now. Right now, I'm mostly interested in getting some of the catchy music from my favorite games and the like, but it opens up all sorts of possibilities.
    For instance...

  6. Been reading through Flowers, and am really enjoying it. Laid back atmosphere, very relaxing.

Something I found funny, though not directly game related. I really enjoy the soundtrack, so I hopped over on Amazon JP to see about ordering it. They have all of the available soundtracks (Printemps, Ete, Automne) available directly through Amazon. 2 of them are available for International Shipping. Unfortunately, Printemps is the odd one out. Funny thing, you can order the game for International Shipping... but not the soundtrack. :(

Edit: I emailed them about this last night, and the response I received was basically, "I see that this item is unavailable for International Shipping, but will pass it along to the proper department to investigate.". Checked again this morning, and BAM!, it's suddenly available for International Shipping. So very ordered!!

This is you on twitter, I guess xD:

It looks like MangaGamer kind of answered the question of eden's hardcopies here:

    http://ask.fm/MangaGamerStaff/answers/120186888946

Just because we both want eden* hardcopies, and both happen to share the same name, is no reason to assume we're the same person...

... even if we are. :P

Hadn't seen that post before. I'm hoping that it's just taken longer to get the promised reduced mosaics art ready from minori, and not that they think a hardcopy wouldn't sell (eden* was #2 between Evangile and No Thank You for 2015, IIRC).

  8. I put Steins;Gate on the backburner, as Flowers finally showed up. I had done really well to avoid any Spoilers, to the point that I didn't even know the main character's names.

It was a bit of a surprise when Mayuri showed up. She looks and acts a bit different, doesn't seem to have any memories of her time at Future Gadgets Lab. Not even one "Tutturu~" out of her.
I've landed on a strange worldline.

Just throwing this out there, but if it's an option, I'd encourage you to get that Steam copy of Steins;Gate refunded and buy the JAST USA release instead. I've seen a lot of gripes with the Steam release in the short time it's out: bugs added back into the game that were fixed, bad line breaks, incorrect TL of phone buttons, and a horrible font choice. The only thing it's got going for it, the higher resolution, is apparently just an upscale of the original graphics (i.e., they didn't have higher-resolution originals to pull from), so it's not actually any better. It's not gonna be terrible, by any means. It's still the same fantastic game and the same great translation (aside from the phone menus, like I mentioned above...). But the JAST USA release is apparently straight-up better.

Oh, and, FWIW, while Flowers is a solid VN if you're up for a nice melodrama, Steins;Gate is an unbelievably good VN, and I'd prioritize it way higher than playing Flowers, even if you've already seen the S;G anime.

Already have the JAST version, which I played through some of last year. The Steam version, I wanted to support a good VN, plus it was a good excuse to play it again.
I did go ahead and start up the Steam version for about 10 minutes, and can say that the bolded is pretty accurate. Yeah, you're gonna spend 20+ hours reading... what's a silly thing like the font matter, right?

  10. Finished off Corona Blossom V1. Trying to decide what to do now...

... on the one hand, in theory...

... my copy of Flowers may, possibly, at some point in the near future, conceivably ship out and arrive. I would like to be able to get started on it ASAP once it arrives.

    On the other hand...

... I picked up the Steam release of Steins;Gate. I could start on it, but if I do, I'll probably be working through it for quite some time. If... if, Flowers showed up in the near future, it would most assuredly get put on the backburner until Steins;Gate was done. Who knows when I'd get around to it.

Choices, choices... to El Psy Kongroo, or not?

  11. Finished off my first play through of SoniComi...

... Cameraman-san is covering a Civil War of some sort, and Sonico just randomly shows up in a nurse getup. I'm down with that. Also, interesting to see that wherever this Civil War is taking place, they still have the time to erect crude monuments to Metallica.
