yes, the RECOVERT is a mistake on our part. to play the update4 with the movie subtitles you'd need either CCCP or K-lite

we've had some issues with the movies not runnin' (when update4 is included), but we've never experienced an actual crash on them, makes it hard to pinpoint what could be the cause of the error

am I to assume both of you are runnin' with japanese systemlocale?

Thanks for looking into that! Also, would it be possible for you guys to upload the subbed videos somewhere? I had to delete Update4.pac because it rendered 2/3 of the videos unwatchable (it would just play 1 second of the audio from the video without doing anything else), but it would be a bit of a bummer if I couldn't see them at all. we should have noted that for the videos, they do not play without help from CCCP or K-lite, which is annoyin'

the game itself should be around 6-7gb, we're lookin' at the main patch to be up to 50 - 55mb, videos will be around 200mb, not entirely certain how big the decensor will be.
