Naraku93 Posted January 4, 2014 Share Posted January 4, 2014 Hello, Today i decided to play kanon after a long time , I've loaded an old save and stumbled upon what I think is a bad ending, there was no ending song, and the main menu suddenly appeared. I've read a lot of walkthrough, including the one in this forum, but noone of these mention a bad ending, so I'm wondering if it really was a bad ending or just a bugged savegame. The ending was makoto's where:She gets hospitalized and her conditions get worse and worse, but Yuichi still hope that she'll return home someday. If this really is a bad ending, are there more? Zalor Posted January 4, 2014 Share Posted January 4, 2014 What you are describing sounds like a bad ending to me. Kanon's bad endings usually end with a black screen and a return to the main menu. Unlike some other Vns, Kanon's bad endings don't provide extra exposition and don't unlock extra CGs, which is why all the walkthroughs don't mention what you described. If you make the wrong choices then this could happen with every heroine. For example this one time when I was doing Mai's route, I made the wrong choice when fighting a spirit and I ended up with the black screen and was returned to the main menu.
