Teashrock
Hello, guys, need a hand in the difficult task: unpacking game archives of visual novels "Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru" and "Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru S". Need all this because going to make a cross-platform, opensource Ren'Py port of this visual novels. Don't care who and how wiil unpack it, just give me all music, sprites, CG, backgrounds down to a single system sound. Game scripts preferred to be decyphered too, but this is optional. Please, help. Edited: By advice below links to the games deleted. If you decided to help and need 'em, PM me. Edited November 7, 2017 by Teashrock
Huang Ling Yin
um, excuse me, but you cant post downloadable (full)content here (sample is ok), you'll banned for piracy, before that happens its better you remove the download... regardless, have you try garbro, i believe it can extract whale engine archives
Teashrock
Sorry, but GARbro didn't do anything. Format of files not recognized. Any other suggestions? Please, if somebody know, tell me.
Infernoplex
https://github.com/vn-tools/whale-tools Did you try this?
Teashrock
Infernoplex, Yes, I did! But it requires a hash sums of each file and it's full filename (and I have no idea, where to get this stuff).
Infernoplex
Hmmm ... I didn't use it myself yet so I cannot say anything about those matters regarding hash sums and filenames. You should try contacting the hacker who made those tools (the author should be somewhere on that github's page). So far, those seem to be the only tools available for whale engine-based VNs.
