Hoshizora no Memoria (SOLVED)

Recommended Posts

When I try to start the game ( using MemoriaEN.exe), an error window occurs with following text:

C:\Users\...\Documents/FAVORITE/???????/save/s901.bin'Ii-, EZ,"s.µ,Ü,µ,1/2 (one half^^)

What do I have to do, to run the game? I installed the custom-font.

Have you tried deleting all the files in save/ folder?

Also check that the folder isn't "Read Only"

I checked this. It's not read only, everything is allowed. And... there ISN'T a /save-folder....

So, what to do?

@ LUCH: System locale is definitely on Japanese, otherwise, I couldn't play little busters, shikkoku no sharnoth or clannad...

C:\Users\UserName\Documents\FAVORITE\星空のメモリア\save

Here is what the directory should look like^

Just make a new Folder and copy the text from above

In any case it doesn't really matter if you don't have a save folder because it should make one for you when you save your process.

Someone can just add an attachment for the save files if you can't find them yourself.

Tried it. Still the same. Doesn't work.

Any more solutions? I'm not so good at tempering with the system...

Can you post a screenshot of your locale?

I know you said it is set to Japanese, but I just wanted to see what it exactly says.

Well, I'm an idiot. I thought, system was on japanese, but it was just the shown language. Locale was still german, but I forgot.

Changed it, restarted the PC and now it works.

Thank you guys, thank you very much.

Yours truly.
