Japan's boom with the Yen has also seen an increase in EMS international shipping rates as an email stated to me from a website I order from. To provide an example, the North American, Oceanic, Central American and the Middle Eastern shipping zone has added an additional 500 yen charge to all packages being sent via EMS.
