Alsolutely not Hidden Content Hidden Content Japanese and their fetishes. I think it affected me so much because Sumika is actually my favorite among the heroines(no hate pls). But yea I'd rather prefer if they didnt give so much detail, just knowing what happened wud have been enough. But thats just my bias since I cant stand stuff like this especially considering the contrast with the first two games. Then again...there's probably as many people who enjoy these and wud be dissapointed otherwise.

Also I think its about I got around to reading tsukihime. I have it installed and everything but never started it so guess I'll get into it next. And here I was thinking of starting kara no shoujo eventually. If its even worse than that 'eventually' is gonna be a long time from now.

Thanx for all the help guys!! Got my PC back a little while ago and luckily it was nothing too serious. None of my data was deleted so didnt hav to copy over my saves. But this thread was still very helpful for future reference.

I kinda had a feeling about that which is why I asked. I didnt really see anything like that so I wasn't sure. Not that I would really know how a file like that would look.

My pc's been causing a lot of problems lately(luckily its working at this moment) so I wil be sending it over for fixing. Now the problem I have is that there is a good chance that I will lose all my data so I have made backups of all my saves and I was wondering if I will still have all my unlocked CGs after I reinstall all my VNs and copy over my save files. Or is there a seperate file or program where my CGs are located?

Okay so i've got a very noob question. Will I face problems if I run visual novels on a 64-bit system? I mean I don't really understand these things too well and I've been told by my friend that a lot of older softwares dont run on 64-bit. He wouldn't specifically know about VNs so I figured this is the best place to ask. I'm guessing newer ones would work without any problems but I don't know any better. With all the recent games requiring more ram and a 64-bit OS I was considering updating to a new system but I don't really want to rush into things blindly. So what do you guys think?

Managed to find a workaround of sorts. If i right click then cancel, the mouse seems to go back to normal. Sorry for bothering you all with such a silly issue. Maybe its about time I got a new system alltogether.

Since today I have been facing a very bizarre problem with some of my VNs namely Fate hollow ataraxia and g senjou no maou. After I start the game and am at the title screen my mouse goes berserk! Basically when I am at the ticket screen in F/HA and am trying to click continue the pointer somehow flies to erase or another ticket and when i exit the game and click OK it doesn't work and somehow flies to cancel.(Not sure whether fly is the right word). I checked my other VNs and G senjou no maou also has the same problem except in this case the pointer goes berserk and is moving rapidly through all the options(load, save, extra those things basically). Now I'm not very techy so I have no idea what the problem is although I'm assuming its software related since the mouse itself seems to work just fine. This problem started from today and F/HA was working just fine yesterday. If anyone has any idea what the problem is and if there is a solution please help.

Exactly as the title says I would like suggestions for VN's which are purely romance and have a slice of life setting. It doesn't exactly have to be a dating sim but I'm looking for something that doesn't have fantasy, sci-fi, etc as the central elements of the plot. Examples would be katawa shoujo and mashiro-iro symphony, though i can't play the latter since it doesn't have a translation. Any suggestions are welcome and thank you in advance.

Wow that voice...for some reason imagining someone like esdeth having that voice feels like its coming straight out of a horror movie. U know where you would see a cute little stuffed rabbit like thing with a knife covered in blood and surrounded by human entrails.(shudders)

This whole situation really does suck. I live in a third world country and over here it is absolutely impossible to get various official products, be it anime, video games or even software. In my country everyone who plays pc games or watch anime do it through pirating. In fact most games released for the pc are either downloaded by those who want to play them or they buy it from stores in which people sell these games by downloading it first, storing it in a DVD and selling it for like a dollar(I'm saying dollar since the currency in my country is different). The same goes for anime and manga. Neither are officially sold as they are not brought to my country. In my country there is around 40000 anime fans(this is only counting the number who have declared themselves as otaku by joining anime based groups on facebook) and all of the only way all of these people are able to watch anime is thanks to piracy. So just imagine depriving all these people of their passion. In my case I'm no different. There are various regional constraints that would prevent me from paying to watch my favorite shows legally. Being an otaku I also have a desire to buy volumes of my favorite manga and BD or DVDs of my favorite anime and then have them on display or at least support the creators but that is impossible for me. Besides I don't have anyting like a credit card and methods to make purchases online are extremely limited for me. Basically by the time I have made a purchase, things like shipping costs, customs and subscription fees would cause my total to nearly double the original cost which is obviously ridiculous. Though I might have already mentioned this already if given a reasonable opportunity I would definitely make purchases. After all I own a ps3 and I buy original games for it(btw console games are pretty much the only things which are sold legally although titles are limited to popular games and prices are ridiculous as well). As such I wish japan would at least put some consideration for people who are in a similar situation as me and not make life hell for the thousands of people who have no other means. P.S. I hope I have not offended anyone or given them the wrong idea as I am simply venting my frustrations here.

Holy crap I think I just fell in love with Tsugumi

My personal favorite is persona 3. Between 3 and 4, 3 has a darker story whereas 4 has more comedy and they aren't related except they occur in the same universe and roughly a year apart so i guess its best to play it chronologically.

Man the BD for the persona 3 movie is almost in my hands and i cant wait to start watching it. As an avid fan of the shin megami tensei series (although i only played persona 3,4 and the devil survivor series) this is so exciting. So there any other fans out there? I'm only starting this discussion for just some random rants, opinions and feelings of this series from all other fans out there.
