Personally, I have no problem with H-scenes. I do like the VNs that actually have an H-scene help with plot or character development instead of just being there. If two characters love each other and want to consummate their relationship than I think that helps show that the H-scene isn't there just to be there; But because it is showing that both characters love each other and feel comfortable enough around each other to take their relationship to the next level. I do like how Katawa Shoujo does let people turn off the H-scenes. I think more VNs should allow that for the people that don't want to see the H-scenes.

Thanks. I am happy I did buy Analogue. I don't remember what convinced me to buy it I just remeber seeing it and buying it. Gore has never really bothered me. Must be because I am desensitized from all the violent video games I play.

I think Steins;Gate would do well on Steam Green-light. I hate how Green-light has a dislike button. It already takes an absurd amount of votes just to get something green-lit. If those people don't like VNs and don't want them on Steam than that is their choice but they shouldn't ruin it for the people that do want want VNs on Steam.

I am fine with Otome games. It is nice to see a female protagonist. Does anyone know of any Otome games that would be good for males?

Hello everyone. Sorry about waiting to introduce myself. My name is Okami55 (Shawn IRL) and I really enjoy visual novels. I am still somewhat of a newcomer to the visual novel medium. I bought Analogue: A Hate Story on Steam and after playing it for a few hours peaked my interest in visual novels. I also played Don't Take It Personally Babe, It Just Ain't Your Story and Katawa Shoujo. I have gotten more since then and now have quite large backlog. Currently I am on Shizune's Route in KS (Already completed Hanako's and Emi's) and I plan on doing Rin's next and finishing it with Lily's Route. I also playing Saya No Uta, Kara No Shoujo, Steins;Gate, Chaos;Head, and A Drug That makes You Dream. I like reading, writing, drawing, watching anime, and playing video games. I hope one day to become either and author or a screenwriter. I would really love to help out with making a visual novel. Mainly writing the story for it because I am still learning how to draw and I don't know how to program.

There is a demo of X-COM on Steam. I pre-loaded Dishonored on Steam last night so all i need to do now is just wait till it officially releases. The next four days are going to be a long wait.

I just wanted to ask who here is looking forward to Dishonored and/or X-COM: Enemy Unknown? I am really looking forward to them. The only problem I face is which game should I install and play first. Both games look like they will be excellent.

How is Dear Drops?

Lily and Hanako are my favorite characters in KS. I am not liking Shizune's route all that much. I am hoping Lily's and Rin's will be good.

Currently I am playing a bunch of different Visual Novels. I may play one on Monday and play a different one on Tuesday. I am not making very good progress by doing that. The ones I am currently playing are Katawa Shoujo, A Drug That Makes You Dream, Saya No Uta, Kara No Shoujo, My Girlfriend Is The President, and Muv-Luv Extra.
