Translation has officially started, however we definitely need more than just me and Road to start speeding up, as neither of us are 100% fluent and could just live in japan forever XD Again, we need more translators, anyone reading this lol

erm, well I think we can start translating as much as we can for now, but I think we might find some more translators while we are doing that-- Glitch98 should be messaging translators right now about this, and asking for help, if he gets some positives, we will hear from him I do definitely think this will give us experience points for future translations XD Also, we should divide up the different work by routes, as that seems most efficient, where one person does one route, another does another route, if you get what I am saying lol From the extracted script, courtesy of Steve, I think I can see 6 routes, AN being Anatasia, CH being Chiharu, KY being Common Route, RE being Rena, SH being Shizuku, and YU being Yuki. I will be translating CH, chiharu and you can pick from the remaining. Tell me which one though, because there are hopefully going to be more translators that are more experienced than me who would be willing to mainly work on other routes, and maybe help us a bit if we need it. So yea, which would you like? I will do Chiharu

Yea, a heads up, I think that you might know more than me but idk XD but also, my skills are very narrow, and I am still learning the language. I can usually do the normal conversation types of translations, but anything with specific words that are not every day words might be difficult. ESPECIALLY since in VN's they seem to have a good amount of both, normal language, and then meaningful sentences, for example "The human race is blah blah blah" i dont know it right off of the top of my head, or words like Biology and Algebra, I have yet to learn >.< so, yeah. If you know obscure words or slang that is awesome! if not, you are still EXTREMELY helpful, since by myself it would probably take more than 5 years to finish haha! thanks for wanting to join in

I really like MajiKoi too, and I am going to play rewrite asap. Hinomaru and Dracu Riot are also some favorites! what about you? we are translating Otome ga Tsumugu Koi no Canvas, if you would like to help please do! haha! erm... well I think it's a nakige, so its really depressing near the end, but throughout the game there are many jokes and such. Which is why i liked it so much, the jokes paired up with all of the sad ending left me for weeks on end crying XDD it really is emotional. Also my name, Captain Cepsa, refers to my dungeons and dragons adventures with my friends. I was a space pilot, (cepsa is an anagram for space, you can see my creativity XD). I don't know why I referenced pokemon with this, but whatever lol. I would say a good cheer-up game is Maji-Koi, but I would ask Glitch98, close friend in real life and has played more visual novels than I think I even know about haha! Also I will now learn about Multiquote !!! haha

As soon as we get a hacker, you can add it to VNDB! I am hesitant right now, because we need a hacker to get the script files to get things going, and if we get a 2nd or 3rd translator, that will be amazing!!!

Image editing would be in case of the situation where there is a static image that needs editing, for example if a game were to show a picture of, say a newspaper, that had something the player is supposed to read, it would need to be translated and different from the script because the writing is on the picture itself. For example, the VN might have parts where there is writing that needs to be understood by the player, within a picture. For example, the settings for the game might use a static picture, where "display" is written in japanese, and it isn't in the script, because it is in the picture, we would need someone to edit the pictures to delete the japanese, and still keep it looking normal. Similarly, there might be the start, settings, and quit game buttons at the main menu, where the buttons are simply a picture, and the buttons need to be edited. If you understand that, I'm sorry for my lack of expertise in explaining things. XD We'd love to have you!

Hey guys! I have been a lurker on fuwanovel for quite some time, getting some visual novels and reading the news and whatnot. Me and my friend are working on translating a visual novel, so we decided we could ask around the forums, so I created an account! fun times... I watch a ton of anime, and play visual novels, anything anyone wanna talk about? My favorite Visual Novel is Da Capo II, because nothing beats the first visual novel you play XD the feels....

Hello, I am CaptainCepsa, the current sole translator. I take Japanese lessons on Saturdays in the morning. I have been taking Japanese for quite a while, and know enough that I was able to go to Japan with my father, and be able to know my way around and ask for directions when needed, and also intend to go again to live with a friend for a month or two. I can speak and read a good amount of the language, but as Glitch had said, I am not the best with Kanji, and that is what I mostly learn at the school. My slang is also poor, and so I do not want to break the immersion a visual novel gives you with blocky phrases that do not sound like what a normal teenager gets, which is why we need someone who is really good with particularly slang, and pretty much all around good. Me and Glitch live relatively close to each other in real life, and as such have the ease of communication, we have many ways we would like to communicate, and we would really like help to get our website going! We have more plans for the website when it gets on it's feet, and would appreciate ANY help that anyone can offer! Thanks a bunch! ~CaptainCepsa
