So really the only problem I seem to be facing is installing the translated English patch that was made a while back. I followed the instructions to update the game to the latest being 2.0 and then it said to simply drop the files into the folder but I get this error https://imgur.com/FpZTRCd If anyone could help that'd be great. P.S. Yes I did change the unicode to japanese beforehand and the game wont load at all after putting in all these patches in the specified folder and only after taking them out again the game loads up normally but still untranslated

Yep it was that...lol It's been a while since I played a game from Favorite so forgot I had to do that part thanks for the help

Sorry bout the delayed response had life priorities to be taken care of. I know you can convert the file easily if the file at the end of it's name was .mdf however the file i have doesn't looks like this. https://imgur.com/56v2Fmr I can open the file as is with the contents being this https://imgur.com/99AE6EH however, you probably know that trying to start it as is by extracting the files from within didn't work. I did try to use daemon tools to mount the mdf, but the error was well it couldn't recognize it or wont do it.

Hm as I suspected then. The thing is I do have the MDF file however I'm not sure how to convert it to .iso so I can mount it. I can extract what's inside it but can't mount it meaning that error u mentioned was what I was thinking it was telling me about

I downloaded your file I tried putting it in dict folder and tried to install, nothing happened, then i tried it again this time using the original unedited getedict file and still nothing. I then tried putting your file in the section where the reader folder resides in and then tried to install the dictionary, all it did overall was make the file you gave me disappear and fail to install. Is there really no way to download the remaining portions for the dictionary?

I tried the first method you said and this time the cmd. prompt instantly closes. I then attempted to find what your said in the Caches\temp but I can't find a file called that or rather there's no such file at all. Also the three folders I posted have nothing in them either.

I've been trying to install these dictionaries however the second one won't install it pops up the cmd. prompt and then goes away in a few secs and just does not want to install. Also when I try to update the dictionaries it keeps telling me something is wrong with the internet connection? Lastly, I installed the Atlas translator too, however the dictionaries that are suppose to show up in the Visual novel settings aren't there why is that? Appreciate the help if possible

ya...uh google says that's harmful stuff to my computer so I'll see if I can find some alternative. thanks for the reply tho

After trying to install it and start it up, it gave me these two messages that I have no clue what they say and when I press ok on both of em I just get sent back to the first message again. Is there something I'm supposed to do before this or what's up?

Well re-downloading it or rather extracting it from the winrar filed again seems to have fixed it. Although I havent included the supposed english patch from uh, this forum into my game again. Whether or not it was because of it that killed my game I got no clue at this point, however the game is working fine now so thanks for the replies and help~!
