    Hm, I'm actually not sure about mangagamer either. They did the same thing Jast did with ef a tale of memories (or when? <_< ). And they did stop translation of DC III even though they don't plan to release any translation for it, they claim monopoly on any translated Circus game, because they got the license.

    I haven't really looked so much into their business, but every company/group trying to spread vns is doing something good.

     

    However it's weird, they released School Days HQ when there already was a free translation for up to last episode and they released My girlfriend is the president, when the trial was translated non-commercially.

    This means, they in some way blocked the free translations from finishing, because I guess you can count on C&D letters from them. On the other hand, they released the works completed, we'll never know if that'd be the case without them.

     

    So in short, I'm hesitant go give them any support. This is of course my personal view and it might be biased.

    Can I have some help with this one?

    彼のにんじん好きは抜きん出ているのだろうか

     

    The context is that basically the herione came back to the place where she was staying after visiting a guy staying at another place who absolutley loves carrots. So the guy who meets her coming bak guesses it's the guy and the herione is wondering if there are any other carrot lovers in this world.

     

    If you can't guess, the game is; Anniversary no Kuni no Alice ^^;

     

    It must be his love for carrots that stands out.

    -- as far as I know

    predicate 抜きん出る = stand out. 彼のにんじん好き = his love for carrots would be the topic, and ーだろうか expresses the mode of the sentence, not really a question, but more of "I suppose that, don't you think so".

    The pcm_*.int files contain the voice data.

     

    The .int files start with a list of repeatedly 72 bytes, that start with 32 byte unknown data, followed by a 8.3 chars filename.

    This is probably some mapping of where to find the data later in the file which is coded in pulse code modulation.
