I'm actually not too sure yet. We can get pretty far with the translated scripts, but we'll be stuck if we can't code it all back into the game :/. I think we found someone who might be able to help us out, but I can't recall right this second.
^ This probably answers the second question as well =D. You wouldn't happen to be good at those kinds of things, would you?
Our current group manager (mochii) has actually attempted this with one of the dialogue boxes and succeeded. I don't know if we've gotten much farther than that.
And thank you. We really wouldn't be doing this if we thought nobody actually cared, so we're very thankful when we do get those little comments of support to boost our morale ^u^.
It's a personal preference, but I always prefer to go with the "more complete" version of a work beforehand. You can go either way, and I actually kinda liked the anime =).
Well I'm praying the easter bunny will give you enough chocolate eggs.which should give you the morale you need to finish this project

I just finished proofreading 5 more files for Toma's route. His stuff is now done all the way up until August 17 in the game.

Do you have anything translated yet? Just asking because I can get you the first hour or so of the game, courtesy of ClaymoreSmiley who was doing the script for a guy who was doing a translated playthrough of it on Youtube. He's out of the (translating) game now, but we're old college buddies so I could have him kick the files to me.

Yes still alive and well. Thanks for the concern means a lot.Is the project still alive and did you finally get your tool capable of converting .txt to .obj?
Our translator will begin work straight after easter and he will be working on it every day from after easter onwards.
.obj to .txt tool solution has been found thanks to User xyz and our programmer will be focusing on creating the tool using xyz's utilities.
However that will be for re in sertion.
We intend to get our graphic artist to resume work on all game images staring this easter.
That way we have image editing happening as well as translation happening after or during easter. As well as the tools being created m
Luckily everything has been extracted from the .iso and we are capable of opening all files.
We still could do with more translators because that way each translator could translate a route each of the game.

I manually inserted the scripts, CG assets to work with RENPY platform.I didn’t extract anything from the PSP, I used the PC assets because a renpy game can be ported to PSP using renpsp.It’s tedious and not worth it. I’d rather have someone extract from the original PSP game, hand the scripts to me and re-insert them."
So he clearly is willing to go far with this.

I wasn't going to start this thread but I must because I feel like with the right person this could become something.
As you know the pc versions of starry sky have almost excluding autumn and winter been translated.
However the psp has 8 portable starry sky VNs which have not been translated at all.
However I once got in touch with the leader of the starry sky autumn pc translation with the intention of persuading him to translate the psp version of the autumn game.
I expected a loud NO
But fortunately it seems he is interested in doing a psp port read this from his website

Well, if the engine is the same as Toradora/Hanagai/Oreimo I can make a tool to extract/repack the scripts, there is already a tool to extract files from this engine, so, the only missing one would be for the scripts, if you want to edit manually I can make a tutorial of how to do so, since I can't make a tool just that fast, it will take some time.

Let me explain the situation
I am working with the team on boku
We are all translating boku
But at the moment all that's left is script translation which is obviously going to take ages.
Then I just made a new friend last week who is not affiliated with us but he wants to do sakarusou so I told him I'd try to get the script since the user above is offering who can deny
And then I personally am going to start up golden time android translation. Which won't be until summer time that's when I'll start messing around with that games obb file.
I now it sounds crazy but there

Today I have come to Announce that I'm interested in Translating the Android version of golden time Vivid Memories.

Let me explain
What is golden time?
Golden time was originally a Japanese novel which became an amazing anime which I watched and loved so much that I cried.
Golden time was created by the guy whom worked on the toradora anime.
What's the game about?
Its about Tada Banri whom moves to the big streets of Tokyo.
Where he attends college and stays in a near by apartment.
He makes friends with those who go to his school and he also has Amnesia.
That's right for once the protagonist has amnesia but the game isn't centered around his amnesia completely.
Which makes the game unique and awesome.
Have you played the game before?
Never ever but I am extremely interested in translating this game.
Wasn't this on the Ps Vita?
Yes but last year it was ported to IOS/ANDROID
The full game uncut. Which is amazing.
Does this game have any translations ongoing?
Nope not even the vita version
Why do you want to start translation project on the Android version?
Well all the golden time series has is
1 short anime series
A few mangas
1 light novel
And there is absolutely no chance unfortunately for the production of a second season of anime.therfore for Die hard fans of the anime and novel we must do this!
Information about the Android version!
The Android version has 3 different versions of this game. Each is the full game but 2 of the 3 versions cost a few YEN and the other version is free. But it's missing a few mini games or extras.
Isn't this region locked?
Yes unfortunately it's only available on the Japanese play store but I have obtained it through legal methods and I have the 400mb .obb file with me here.
What file types can you see in the. Obb?
13 files that are called level 0-13 but they has no file extension
500+ files that has no extension and are not above 2mb in size
Also there are .asset file types
As well as 200-800 .aab files which begin with the main characters names.
I am 100% certain the scripts are inside these .aab files but I don't have a tool for opening them.
What types of people are you looking for?

Yes I am but the translators are busy with translating that game so I have nothing else to do.
What can you give to the team?

I am interested in this game and hope there are some hackers and translators who also might join me.
Or at least help me open a few of these files up by lending me their tools or creating new tools!
