I know how embarrassing it is, but hey, you did a good job. I could never do something like that.
Now for some feedback:
Aside from the pros and cons that Kendjin and Mouse have mentioned, I only have one point - your choice of music. Scarlet is a great piece of music indeed, but I don't think it fits the atmosphere that you wanted to create in this video. The Emerald Sea or The World is Coming to an End (don't remember correctly the name of the song) would be more suitable in my opinion.
Anyway, +1 for your efforts!

Wait, is "Tomoyo After" "After Story"? I'd thought they were different games...
Nope. There are only 2 visual novels: Clannad and Tomoyo After. Clannad contains... well... Clannad and Clannad After Story.
Tomoyo After is a side story (like Kud Wafter).Why hasn't anyone mentioned Planetarian? I'd recommend the VN by the way.

In this game world, I'm pretty sure I would specialize in logic damage, with a few spirit-draining skills (e.g., trolling) for use against opponents that were resistant to logic damage. Most of my damage would be counter-based; my strategy would revolve around taunting or otherwise luring opponents into overextending themselves, then delivering sharp, pinpointed ripostes that punish mistakes while minimally exposing myself. My role in a group would be a counter tank: defending vulnerable positions against throngs of poorly armed foes.

Something doesn't match hire.
It is a good explanation for a Lucia route with her becoming new key but In Chihaya's Route Kagari did die she become sand/dust after Sakuya fight Akanes familiars. And Akane didn't become new key she only made a new key out of Sakuya who in the end died. So in the end of her route key is dead and there isn't new one so there shouldn't be eath energy than where from Kotarou get's his energy from for his familiar side of him?
I never said that Akane became the Key in Chihaya's route. In that route Kagari only disappeared because she assumed that her purpose has been fulfilled by others. So the green circle thingy (I don't remember what it's called) is still there in the forest for Kotori to use. Remember the promise Kotori made to Kagari? Kotori will get unlimited energy source from the green circle if she can prevent Kagari's death and protect her. Only in the case of Kagari's death would the green circle in the forest dissapear, resulting in the loss of energy to maintain Kotarou's familiar body.

Wouldn't say there are any plot holes that you couldn't fill in yourself besides Chihaya/Shizuru's case because that writer was pretty ugh.
Anyways, to answer;
The Key died in Lucias route, yes, but if you remember from Kotoris route, Kotori had to manually break the contract with Kotarou for him to lose his powers and for his wounds to re-open. All the Key did was give Kotori the ability to make familiars and become a 'druid', she never bound her to Kotarou.
Hmmm, don't quiet remember that
the Key died in Lucia's Route. Maybe her role in this route was so small that I hadn't payed much attention to her. But yes, the contract between Kotarou and Kotori is the right answer!

The first thing that I'd like to say is that Kotori's Route is written by Tanaka Romeo, while Ryu07 wrote Lucia's, and another writer - Chihaya's. So there might be some details that are not logically connected, which can be considered as plot holes.
I read this a long time ago, so if something is wrong, fell free to correct me! Now to answer your question:
Lucia's Route:
The writer actually did nicely here. As you can see Ryu made "the Key" Lucia, not Kagari. Of course Kagari still exists, so there's no way Kotarou would lose his familiar power.
Chihaya's Route:
Kagari did't die in this Route. Akane did the Apocalypse thing for her. She just became idle, therefore Guardian lost its purpose in destroying her.

I've finally gotten the confidence to play through "Akane Iro ni Somaru Saka" untranslated. It's about time; that game's been one of my big motivators for learning japanese. ^^
The VN is... weird... in a good way though. It's not a pure romance like its manga and anime adaptations. It also has a mystery girl route like Hoshimemo, which is a good thing. The VN is sooooo much better than the anime. The manga is good too.
On a side note, I love Minato.

If you don't mind ones that are only in Japanese, I can name thirty or forty truly epic games, but I'll start with ones that are just generally good: Harumade Kururu (this game starts like a harem nukige and turns into a serious mindfuck), Evolimit (any action game by propeller really), Ruitomo, Comyu, Dies Irae (for its unrepentant melodrama), Hapymaher, Grisaia (the first one), Haruka ni Aogi Uruwashi no, Jingai Makyou, Komorebi no Nostalgia, Otome ga Tsumugu Koi no Canvas, Sousei Kitan Aerial, Tiny Dungeon series, Draculius, Tsuisou no Augment, Vermillion - Bind of Blood. I could go on further, but I won't.
Wow you really are a hardcore reader Clephas-san. Many of the title you listed there I only hear for the first time. And yes I agree that Ruitomo is epic.

The ideal visual novel for me is me as the protagonist with some bad-ass super powers and one True Harem end where I could sleep with girls all over the world like Rance could. The end.
Okay, jokes aside well I was still serious back then... For me, an ideal VN is a VN that:
- Is without plot holes (it definitely cannot be called ideal without this).
- Has great music that is suitably placed.
- Has artwork that fits the atmosphere and, of course, my eyes.
- Has the main theme that is inspiring or even confronting.
- I like dark games.
- I also like light games, so comedy is a "should have".
- Makes me think and intrigues me enough that I couldn't go to sleep without thinking it over.
Well... that's pretty much :D/>
