Miia_is_best_snake Posted October 6, 2015 Share Posted October 6, 2015 So recently, I've been getting into visual novels more, so I decided to get Muv-Luv. I've downloaded it and followed the instructions, but the problem is...the daemon tools that came with it. Every time I open it, it says Updating Virtual Devices. So I thought I should try to download it by itself. It said the same thing. Finally I downloaded a different tool but that doesn't work for Muv-Luv. I know that the method listed there does in fact work, as I was able to get everything installed quite easily, after I disabled my antivirus, anyway. Zenophilious Posted October 6, 2015 Share Posted October 6, 2015 Well, searched around a bit, and apparently that can happen when programs like antiviruses conflict with Daemon Tools. Miia_is_best_snake Posted October 6, 2015 Author Share Posted October 6, 2015 I also tried Installing a different software WinCDEmu, but when the installation says input disk, I double click on the file, and it says, this doesn't appear to be the correct version of muv-luv dvd-rom, so I'm not sure what I messed up on. just read your message, i'll try that now. Zenophilious Posted October 6, 2015 Share Posted October 6, 2015 Hmmm...try uninstalling your version and downloading a fresh version of DT Lite and reinstalling it, with the antivirus still paused.
