  1. There's the series and two movies under the title

    "Neon Genesis Evangelion"

then theres the "Rebuild of Evangelion" which is a re-telling of the story in four movies. Evangelion 1.11 You are (NOT) Alone, and Evangelion 2.22 You Can (NOT) Advance are out, Evangelion 3.33 You can (NOT) Redo is due to be released sometime soon on Bluray and dvd and Evangelion 4 (FINAL) is still in production

  2. Frontier Elite 2 (i Originally played this on my first computer. a Commodore Amiga 500)

Princess Maker 2 (you can get this on dosbox!)

Dune 2 the Battle for Arrakis (again another one from the a500, precursor to Command and Conquer)

    Syndicate (Cyborg Combat!!)

Dark seed 1 + 2 (side scrolling adventure game filled with H.R. Giger artwork. Very spooky)

I could list old games all day lol

  3. Banning people is a bad option.

The moderates can edit the post, put something like "Link Removed" and then at the bottom of the post put their name with why it was removed and keep it simple. Example:

Tatsu - Please don't post links to licensed visual novels! <3

So that's just an example. The mods can also send a PM to the person and tell them what happened. I forgot what I did but I was sent a PM and told, as per policy, that I can't do what I did wrong (I completely forgot what I did, lol). But if the person repeats it again then you can begin with a warning and up to three warnings till they hit a two week ban (or something).

Exercising force right off the bat is one of the worst ideas. Just look at the other anime-related board mods out there. How many mods/admins do that without warning and on top of that they're not nice with how they word stuff to others? If you become an ass to someone then they have every right to be an ass back to you. It just turns people off to actually come here ...

Having nice and communicative mods on Fuwanovel is one of the best things we hold here. Lets not destroy that.

  4. Coincidentally, I am also playing Mass Effect 1. For the last few days though, I've focused on replaying Portal 2 and even though it's my favorite PC game, I am still learning many new things. (PORTAL 2 SPOILERS)(i.e.

I never knew that the test subjects that were taken for propulsion gel testing were homeless people.)

Besides that, I occasionally play Binding Of Isaac and sometimes CS Global Offensive. Binding Of Isaac Rebirth is coming out on the 4th, so I'll probably play that a little before my exam week starts on the 6th.

(Mass Effect 1 Spoilers... I guess)

On that icy planet you visit, Peak 15 reminded me of Dead Space 3. Oh well.

Yeah I agree about your ME1 spoiler. Though that's my least-fave mission of the main storyline. Just because of the annoying elevator bug that you get on the pc version :/

  5. I'm still fairly new here, so my opinion may not count for much. But I for one agree.

If a VN Is released as a licenced product with an Out of the box or developed english translation and is "for sale" somewhere then It should be a policy to encourage people to buy said VN. It should also be a policy to take pirate-links of a comercially avaliable translated VN down and simply have a link saying "if you like the look of it, please concider buying it."

This will encourage more support into the translation of Visual novels and encourage more people to support companies that are doing it.

Far-be-it for me to tell people how and where to get something they want, but this would also help Fuwanovel's relationship with Visual Novel publishing companies as the community would be seen as a place that, while advocating the download of freeware/thirdparty translated VN's to help build up enough of a fanbase to make publishers think about OOTB English Translations, does not advocate the piracy and distribution of their readily available English translated Content and IP.

    Just my thoughts...

  6. I got into Anime through a college friend back in 2006. He showed me a few shows, The first one I really got into was Serial Experiments: Lain swiftly followed by Ergo Proxy.

The First Film that I watched was Princess Mononoke followed by Akira  and Ghost in the shell.
