    If my heart had wings route choices issues

    Ok so I'm playing "if my heart had wings" right now and I decided I was going to go after ageha first so I got to one of the questions that ask "go together with ageha" "go home together with kotori" or "go to asa" I chose go together with ageha and all seemed fine until it got to the scene where we find out that a teacher has decided to be the advisor of the soaring club. what happens is aoi gets into the glider and takes off and aoi says "we have wings. we're clumsy so there's no way we can fly by our strength alone. But... Let's flap our wings as we head straight froward, chasing our dreams!" and then the screen goes white and brings me back to the title screen. Is this suppose to happen? I am very confused, is this a bug? or did i do something wrong with one of the answers I chose? if someone could help clear this up for me that would be awesome.

    I was wondering the exact same thing actually:p

     

    I play the guitar & piano for some time now and atm only taking piano lessons and  I also like to write my own piano scores.

    And I'm currently the one producing the music for a visual novel of a team of this forum :)

    Been producing my own music for 5 years now. 

    I started with FL Studio, but have switched over to Studio One now.

    What DAW do you work in btw?

     

     

    Well for feedback, I like it but this kind of music is not something I know a lot about producing myself, but for example at "future sight" you have that breakdown @1:30, it has a sidechain/volume envelope on it.

    I would cut that out and turn the volume down, you can see in the waveform of that track, that it is not correct.

    @3:00 Also the "kick" is the dominant instrument in every EDM track (house, d&b, dubstep, etc).

    Now the kick sort of drowns because of all the other instruments, now can't hear it clearly and doesn't have a lot of punch.

    You can solve this by almost everytime with just EQ'ing and sidechaining.

    Cut off low frequencies of the synth, there will be some and you don't need them and they are messing with the kick.

    Sidechain the bass and synths so it will make more room for the kick.

    Also when you sidechain it will have a more dynamic feel to it, makes people dance and stuff :P

     

    I would recommend using more FX (i've heard some, but need more:P), like white noise buildups and down or snare fills or make cut-off envelopes of you synth, since those breaks are coming at a kinda random moment now.

    When you do this, there will be more tension in the track overall.

     

    Also your tracks lack really power and some instruments sound too thin, like for example daijoubu.

    That snare is way too thin, it needs more low and depth.

    You can do this by layering more snares with that one, and matchEQ them. (if you have one for the lower end, you cut some low off the other).

    After that you compress them, put some saturation/distortion on them (try Sausage Fattener by Dada Life, really simple and cool plug-in).

    Also you can use that VST on your bass and synths.

     

    And some general tips, always make sure strings have compression on them when do are just background instruments, since they don't need the dynamics.

    This will make room for other instruments, which will result in a louder overall sounding track.

    Use this also on bass if needed.

     

    Don't know if you are doing it or not, but it helps if you seperate the Reverb and Delay of the mixer channels.

    You have them linked to sends, and then you have the ability to edit and hear (if you have all the channels linked to busses) the reverb and delay separately.

    Have a short reverb one for the bass, snares, hats etc. and a long for the synths, fx, vocals and stuff and a delay too.

    Are liquid bass and chillstep similar?

     

    They are pretty similar just the kicks and snares are arranged differently. and dnb is usally around 170 bpm while chillstep i believe around 130.

     

    If you like anything if it sounds nice check out Nujabes. Probably heard of him (maybe not) but he is a god, may he R.I.P.

    The Kuroneko figure is amazing!
     

    I love all sorts of music doesn't matter the genre if it sounds nice i like it :D but I am a huge fan of dnb (Drum & Bass) 

     

     

     Music can express so many stories, emotions, and connect people whats not to love?

    OH BTW Nujabes is amazing!! and the piano is my favorite instrument as well!

    I'm  going to give 'Fate/Stay Night' a try just got done downloading it :D I'll also give 'Tsukihime' a try. as for G-senjou no Maou I just got done downloading that as well xD I'm most likely going to download all the ones you guys just recommended haha its pretty easy for me to like things so ill give them all a shot :D

    Hey there people! I'm new to this forum as you can see by the little title i got that says 'newbie' but yeah anyways I'm here to introduce my self :D My real name Is Bo and I'm currently a college student at saddleback in socal. My hobbies are: Making music, Drawing, Anime, Manga, and visual novels starting a week or so ago. My Favorite anime is Shakugan No Shana. Favorite Manga is probably Mirai Nikki and then my favorite VN atm Is Grisaia no kajitsu. So yeah if theres anything you want to know more about me feel free to ask :D not like most people would care but the options yours :D

    Hello people I am pretty new to the whole visual novel scene and I was wonder if there are some must play games. It would be awesome if the games have allot of choices and are a bit on the mature side not to much sexual content though. The only games I have played are clannad and  grisaia no kajitsu. Gnk was a great game but maybe thats just because its one of the only games i have played :P so if there are any recommendations it would be awesome to see what to play.
