I looked back on the forum and, wernt you the one who said she was a favourite? and that the author was getting the sense that she was becoming popular with the fans? although i know she is liked, i havent seen much to suggest her as a OMG type

I'm sorry, but that is too biased. just on what grounds is she invincible? so far, the story itself says otherwise but if you got some evidence please share it. but if it's just your opinion then thats okay. i'm someone who believes (hopes) for esdeath and Tatsumi some-way some-how so i get alot of nay sayers as well. thats why info to prove the point is vital.

since when was that a rumor? was there anything to validate it or did it just turn up somewhere? but something tragic is likely to happen to mein, even if she still survives. najenda already said she and tatsumi are in mortal danger, and then the prophecy dude. i'm not sure if she has a teigu trump or not but i'm not sure what else she can do besides become esdeaths love rival/target

exactly that. Esdeath, while still sadistic, has had several parts about her changed due to her love for Tatsumi. like when she was ordered to return to the capital from her defending the Western front. she was smiling at the thought of battle but then that smile went away to a sad lonely face at the thought of Tatsumi. while not expicilty stating, that shows Tatsumi has a changing influence on her and what she feels. So it would not be too much of a stretch to feel like she would be hesitant to kill Mine. Angry, Hurt perhaps but if she takes Bols advice seriously to not give up, then she would have to be careful about her next moves. as i said, the next chapters are make it or brake it for her. we'll see. but the wait it EATING AT MY SOUL!!!

While i do agree that wavexkurome is more than likely (if not already on the starting grounds), that tatsumi and mein will result in death and that Tatsumi and Akame is not likely, i would have to disagree with TatsumixEsdeath. yes i know she is a sadist. yes i know she loves carnage, brutality, torture, violation. but she also loves Tatsumi. everyone says that she will kill mein but until that actually happens i dont see it as likely. Takahiro, the author, makes a habit of creating strong women who have affection for the protagonists of the story, and through that comes changes in the battle fanatic tendencies of those women as they direct their feelings towards love, and are then dominated by their lover. i say wait until we see the next 2 or three chapters before anyone says they wont happen with an absolute. despite her evil, there are many factors that have changed about because of her love for Tatsumi, from vowing to protect him and never let anything harm him despite her belief in survival of the fittest, to her strolling around because the moonlight is pretty. both her and the prime minister agree that such things are not like her. SO with the revelation between her and Tatsumi going out with mine, she will either choose the love that has evidently changed such things about her already, taking bols advice to never give up. or become the rampaging general. As for her joining. i see 50/50 in regards to that. by that i mean she would not so much join them but stay near Tatsumi to protect, win and love him with clear hostilities (or indifference on her part) to night raid. as for her habit of hurting and torturing others, if Tatsumi responded to her love, she would have something else to focus on. (as stated above) but that could take a while since mein would still have to be dealt with. i like mein as a character but as a girlfriend, that seemed rushed to me. i reckon its overall role in the story was for the last chapter and Esdeath more than a dating couple. And if the revolution won, then Esdeath would probably go into exile from the country due to her previous actions, and go with Tatsumi around the world (and probably other members of night raid since Akame one suggested they should go around the world once their country changes). that or her actions would probably get her amnesty of sorts. Thats what makes the next chapter(s) so critical. its time to see once and for all what she truly wants. Tatsumi or carnage. As for the danger beasts blood in her, i get the feeling that since she already has control of it, there would be no need to worry for the future. it could be more to do with a strong will to survive and win that her experience living alone in the north taught her that conquered it, so her future with it would be safe.

is there any way to add another option to mines fate in the poll? i think that "Mein will die, but not by Esdeath" so i cant really choose anything on the poll. as for the latest ep. them feels man. fuck... if i could i would of saved her.

i say long live TatsumiXEdeath but everyone is entitled to their opinion. Personally, i like mein as another supporting character than a love interest. her cheeky stabs and mocking of Tatsumi was funny. i find that their pairing is rather off and too rushed, seeing as Tatsumi did not have feelings for her. honestly, i don't see why he actually accepted, even he said he did not know how to respond and seemed to just go with it. not that there wasn't something there, but then, there is sparks between Tatsumi and several other women too. If Tatsumi had to be with a women of Night raid, I'd rather it was Chelsea. would of made her end more traumatising though, but then there are plenty of hints that Mein is also going to a heavy end. Since i support Esdeath with Tatsumi, i would rather Esdeath win Tatsumi over with love and affection than going insane and killing anything that moved. otherwise the chance is all but nil and her feelings would only serve as a vulnerability. To that end, i'd like for Tatsumi and Mein to break up, or Mein acknowledging Esdeath as a love rival of sorts (which she sort of does) with Esdeath winning eventually. well, Esdeath baisically suffered her first loss in anything by finding out about Tatsumi having a Girlfriend. and the PM did say that one can learn from defeat. i'd rather Esdeath changes now instead of being on the sidelines all crushed, or beserk. otherwise the arguments about her on other threads (and out hearts) wont be over for some time. damn this monthly release. i want to know what happens NOW! hell, i'd live as Tatsumi if i could just to figure it all out.

yellow. i think im one of the few that thinks mein will die ***BUT*** that esdeath will have nothing to do with it. there is little to no way for night to infiltrate the palace, and even if rubboc did crack, the PMs son is the one responsible for tracking them down. i doubt esdeath will just follow them. plus, if love is a new experience for esdeath, then so would heartbreak. it will probobly be one of the few times that esdeath loses (even if not in fighting) and will either A)make her worse or b) make her change to win over the one she loves (which most folks want anyway, plus, there is no reason to doubt it JUST yet) my suspicion is that rubboc and tatsumi (or just rubboc) get freed by the government offical that relayed the information about the rebellions to the kid emperor a few chapters back, wild hunt follows (with the army) and a member of night raid dies (mine is my suspicion) and wathcing the anime that focused on mine, she will probobly be crucifed in the manner that she sais she would not end up in, crushing tatsumi. And if tatsumi does escape as well, he witnesses her dying moments and is crushed all the same. meanwhile, esdeath would be in the capital all down and such, thinking about what to do (if she did not defect) and will probobly be defeated during the rebellion (not killed) and she and Tatsumi end up together some way (probobly due to Tatsumi not wanting to lose anyone else he cared about, even if its a little in esdeaths case) either way, before the sotry ends, i want esdeath and tatsumi together. i highly doubt that she would just out right defect, and its even less liekly for night raid or the rebellion to accept her. so if it took a while, she gathers up her army to fight the imperial gaurd and evens the odds somewhat (she did say boricks gaurd was the only forcd capable of stopping her, this would even the odds somewhat) thats what i think at least.
