    VN vs Anime

    In the cases where I have watched the anime first I always end up finding the VN better. The only anime I have ever preferred to the VN is Clannad and I read the VN way before I watched the anime.

    There are times that I read the visual novel first but I find myself dropping the anime :/

    The one you see first will be the one most to your liking I think, because that's the way you'll get to know the characters, setting and plot. Anything else tacked on afterwards just seems either out of character or out of place.

    Not saying this is always so, but exceptions acknowledge the rule wink.gif

    I always watch the anime first but always find the VN better. That's just me.

    As I read in bed it is quite tricky to eat something, I usually have glass of water but I eat before I read, it is true that you cannot play VN with empty stomach, especially not Flyable Heart xD

    I usually take like piece of chocolate in between but I eat it on the way from kitchen so its not really snack with VN reading.

    I would actually say that when I read VN, I concentrate too much to be able to eat, it would distract me.

    I was actually able to play Ef~ without sleeping and eating just to finish it in one go. LOL

    I thought the gameplay was pretty fun the first time around but got stale when I did the second and third routes. At that point, I was just interested in the story since it was boring and time consuming to play the same maps over again.

    Also, in regards to Utawarerumono, you get everything in a single playthrough so it probably wouldn't be as much of a bother as Kamidori.

    If that's the case I might play it then.

    I began to play it about a last april... Still not finished. Currently on the last chapter of 3rd route (Emelita's). Soon it will be over!

    I just want to lay down and read a story so I didn't play any of these gameplay based VNs.

    Minigames are fine but this RPG is not for me xD If I wanted i could play full on RPG like FF xD

    But like I said, I much prefer just laying and reading a story smile.gif

    I actually think that I should stop playing RPG VNs after it because it takes too much time. This is why I can't bring myself to play Utawarerumono. For some reasons though I still played gadget trial xD
