  1. Really depends on the quality, I really liked the Rurouni Kenshin live-action movie even though I have read and finished the manga, but the Dragonball Evolution movie was just god awful. Personally, I think if any anime were to get a live-action movie or series I think the Japanese studios should make them.

  2. Well the first time I've ever been exposed to VNs is by playing the Ace Attorney series but I didn't even know what a visual novel was. So I looked it up on Wikipedia which somewhat sparked my interest but not to the point where I really got curious. Sometime in the future I was really bored of the games I've been playing and there weren't any novels that were worth re-reading, so I needed something new to get into, something fresh and exciting.

That's where VNs come in, I've done some research on VNs because of my interests in it and I thought this could be the next best thing for me to really get into. Finally I've decided to play my very first Japan-exclusive visual novel, Rewrite. I have played through it, and it was one hell of an experience! That is when I started to really get into VNs.

  3. Currently playing Plague Inc: Evolved on PC. I am addicted to it, I've owned Plague Inc on Android and IOS before but killing the entire world with a plague on a big monitor has never felt so good! Whether it'll be killing the entire world with the disease, or enslaving them, or even with zombies, it's just satisfy as all hell!

  4. For me, the art is an important factor when it comes to choosing which visual novels I should play because after I am playing a visual novel, it not only has to please my eye but the art style also has to fit the game, e.g I like SOYOSOYO's CG art for I/O since the art doesn't have bright colours and that I/O is a sci-fi vn plus it pleases my eyes as well. Even if a visual is highly rated, I'd be very hesitant to play it if the art really doesn't suit my tastes e.g Umineko no Naku Koro ni. There are also times where I'll play a vn purely because it has gorgeous art, even if the vn itself isn't so highly rated, e.g Asami Asami's CG art for Re:birth colony -Lost azurite-

I would avoid most if not all visual novels that are really dark or anything that has extreme content simply because I don't think I can stomach whatever a really dark VN throws at me.

  5. Hello to everyone on Fuwanovel! The name's Praeliator but you can call me Prae.

I've been getting into visual novels since last year but never really had the time to play a lot due to full-time studies. It wasn't until this year that I took a year-and-a-half long break from studies that I finally started to really get into the visual novel scene and also start to learn the Japanese language.

I have also been regularly browsing the Fuwanovel forums since last year as well but the thought of being a member never crossed my mind until today. So I hope that I can get along with everyone and become friends with everyone as well! :D
