Man, Miyakos route may be the next good thing to be translated despite how slow its going. There doesn't seem to be anything good coming out any time soon. :/

Probably for the best. It'll just be dissapointing if it ends up not being released on the estimated date.

Fucking yes! I totaly agree. Kazuko is like, my second favorite character, but the way her route ended realy dissapointed me.

rofl to be honest, i see myself breaking down in about 4 days tops. I've been wanting to see how long i could go without for a while, but never realy had a good excuse. yup.

All right. I'm gonna do it. From today onward, I'm gonna abstain from fapping until Miyako's route is finished translating. It will be a true test of will and endurance. I will prevail!

Don't think that was it, but it's definetly relevant to what I was saying before. Mangagamer isn't knowingly not translating popular titles, they just can't. Either because the publishers/developers wont allow them to buy the liscence, or the liscence just costs so much that they wont make a profit. They're still throwing out good visual novels amongst the spew of nukige. They pretty recently picked up DC III which im pretty excited for.

Id like to know if there's an update on that as well. Getting kind of worried :/

? The story centric vn's they put out are mainstream. Da Cappo, Da Cappo 2, Kira Kira, Deardrops, Edelwiess, Koihime musou, and many others all did very well on the japanese market and were made by big name companies, but didn't make them nearly as much as the cheap to produce Softhouse Seal games. Also, I'm pretty sure they posted on theyre blog that they couldn't work with companies like Key because negotiations kept going south. I may be thinking of a different company though. All I'm saying is it's not as simple as "Why dont they just translate more popular ones".

Unfortunetly, this is not true. Manga gamer has stated time and time again that the nukiges they translate actualy make them more money than the story centric visual novels, due to the fact that the nukiges are pretty god dam cheap to liscense and translate. The big titles on the other hand cost them so much to liscence that they almost don't make a profit. They're still translating story VN's mind you, they just need to keep throwing out nukiges to keep the company afloat. Have a little faith in them. (FYI, I might be a little bias since i beta test for them lol)

Maybe no single person in the show is the main character, kind of like baccano, durarara, pulp fiction ect. Just my guess anyways lol. As for your second question, dunno. Not actualy a big fan of yuri. Edit: Just realized you were talking about a VN not an anime. lol my bad.

Its a little rocky right now. Last we heard from the translator it was over halfway done, but we havnt heard from him in over 2 weeks. Here's to hopeing he pops back into existance :/

I have a similer policy,but due to the rocky nature of this particuler translation, and how good the game is, id say play whats translated now. Hell this game may never get a full translation, and whats translated so far is pretty freaking awesome.

uuuuuuuugh. going through the game again myself. It's so painful to see miyakos reactions every time i start a new route and she realizes the mc is in love with someone else FYI, your Grimmjow pic is dam sexy.

Never knew this was a thing. here's the description from vndb. Three times an average game's text volume, more than 20 endings, new insert songs, mahjong and card battle minigames. Since it's a ps3 game, all of the h scenes should have been removed as well.

I never said all of majikoi s was translated. I said all of the NEW GIRLS routes in S were translated. There is no complete patch yet. Edit: Ah dam didn't realize someone else already answered your question.

If you like comedy, it's a fantastic visual novel. just keep in mind that Miyakos route is currently untranslated. Majikoi S (the sequel) Has all of the new girls routes translated as well so hit that one up after if you end up enjoying the first.
