  1. Okay. I'll try the 100% save, and if that doesn't fix the issue than I may put the vn on the backburner for now. Thanks for the help!
  2. I tried deleting the corrupted saves and redownloading it but it didn't help any. I may have to download that 100% save file you mentioned. Where can I download one?
  3. I did redownload (first thing I did) but nothing changed. I still had my old saves (which I was grateful for) and my old problems (which I wasn't). Is there a way to delete my save files? If I do that and then redownload maybe it would work. Edit: Also, should I try uninstalling? I've never uninstalled a vn before so I'm not sure what to expect.
  4. So I've played G-senjou up to the Tsubaki Route when my laptop froze over (I'm already getting help for this) so I had to do a hard reset. When I restarted G-senjou I couldn't get into the Tsubaki Route again. I can reload saves from the common route or choose the "Ditch her while I can" option, but if I choose "Devote myself to Tsubaki" or load a future save from the route I get the errors post below. Given the mention of "(void)" in the errors, maybe some files or saves for that route have been corrupted? I guess I'll start up the other routes in the meantime but I appreciate some help. Thanks in advance, W4H Screenshots
  5. Alright, so C:Program Files is fine for future vns, but just in this instance I should avoid it. I'll redownload them, make sure the files aren't in C: Program Files, and unzip them with 7zip. Thanks again for the help!
  6. I meant the D drive instead of the C drive. When I download visual novels (after I get them off of UTorrent) it normally goes straight to C: Program Files. I'm not sure where else it can be installed.
  7. Okay. I'll keep that in mind, thanks. Edit: One last thing: where would you suggest I put it, and other future downloaded visual novels? On a separate dvd or flash drive?
  8. Alright, thanks for the help (even despite your reservations). I'll look up 7zip online. Hopefully it will work correctly this time.
  9. No, I didn't expect the original zip files would self destruct or something. I just didn't know if the original zip files would conflict with the new unzipped files so I just left them be. I clicked the option for "Extract all". I'm pretty sure I didn't do it through Windows Explorer. No, you had it right the first time. Rio.arc.bkp only appeared when I ran apply_diffs. But it's the only file in my restoration patch folder that has .bkp. The rest end with .diff. Uh, sorry? I meant that more as "I'm not tech-savvy" vs. "I'm stupid". If need be I'll read up on console outputs on Google and find out what I'm supposed to be looking for.
  10. Well, when I first downloaded it, I had the restoration patch and the game in zipped folders. I unzipped them both, but they just made copies of themselves, so I had two zipped folders and two unzipped folders. I put the unzipped restoration patch files into the unzipped game folder and ran apply_diffs. The other files in the restoration patch in my game directory read .arc.diff. Should I have deleted the previous folders and made sure all the files read .arc.bkp? P.S. I wouldn't know how to read the console output, and even if I did I wouldn't know what looks right or wrong in it.
  11. So, I downloaded If My Heart Had Wings, and I thought everything was going fine. I had Rio.arc.bkp in my restoration patch folder so, despite some Engrish, I thought the patch had successfully installed. But I just reached a scene where Kotori fell in the bath but already had a towel wrapped around her, despite that Aoi requested a beach towel so that she could be wrapped up in one - a clear sign that the scene had been tampered with. I thought I did everything I was supposed to, unzip the folder and put the files into the game directory/folder and then run apply_diffs. What went wrong? Thanks for the help. P.S. Is there any way to delete my old saves? Since the patch doesn't work on old saves I'm gonna need the slots for future saves.
  12. In that case I'll wait until I can beat a level 70 character (considering my highest, Yuella, is only 11 that's gonna be a while) get the Deadbeat stigma, continue on through the dungeon, beat the Deadbeat God, and then get rid of it. I'll scrounge around for gold until then.
  13. Ah, I didn't realize people replied to this. I pmed the maker of this walkthrough, Tom, shortly after posting this question and then made a sale or two with Emelita as clerk. As for the Deadbeat Dungeon, I've been there but the sign that appears afterwards at the Workshop was annoying so I'm holding off it. Thanks for the help.
  14. I'm having trouble with Sales in the workshop. I'm only in chapter 1, and I've been having the guild send a clerk while I've been out doing quests. I've been gone for four days and return to find that I've made no income at all in the shop. I've yet to make any income there despite having my Attract be at 70%., my Sales at 90% and my Price be at 111%. I've put in furniture, created items and then put them in the list and pressed confirm and still nothing. Am I just too early in the game still? Will I start racking in income in later chapters? I just want to make sure I'm not doing something wrong. Thanks for the help.
