  1. Ok so people in my last post was saying I was pirating the visual novels. I just want to clarify things. Does downloading a game(not necessary visual novel) means pirating? Then what about installing? Of course some people don't buy games, they just get it on their PC or phone by downloading it, and that is legal. I don't understand. Perhaps the game is in play store but what about websites and using links like torrent file or rar file?

  2. Is there a way/setting(i think some games do not have this setting)  to allow the voice actors to finish saying their sentence even when you press next? I always click next before she said finish and if the next part is voiced then her voice would be cut off and the next voice actor comes in. Thanks!

The japanese shave pubic areas!? Have you ever looked at a JAV? Save for exception it's a freaking jungle down there, if anything shaven pubic areas is a fetish (Japan has about 500 different kind of sexual fetish, follow NSFW link for proof: http://www.dmm.co.jp/mono/dvd/-/genre/), if anything it's westerners who are obsessed with shaving it, have you ever looked at US porn?

The reason why VN usually have no hair I am guessing is because it is hard to make it look good and it is hidden by mosaic anyways, so they don't care.

I actually don't know much about Japan culture so thanks for your info and thanks for your answer

  4. This might be a weird question but why does the pen*s not have hairs? Is it because of the japanese culture that they shave their pubic hair? Or is it just their art style or are all vn like that? Thanks!

  5. Ok so after I downloaded the ShiniKiss I extracted the file. I clicked the file しにきす and then screen open. Then a pop up appeared instead of the game : リストのインデックスが範囲を超えています(4). I'm using windows 10

What does this mean? And after I clicked 'OK', the screen remains black. Please help.. Thanks in advance

the trial edition can usually be downloaded for free from the developer's hp, so get that one :Kappa:

Does playing trial edition mean that I will only be able to play some parts of the visual novel compared to the complete edition?

  7. I live in Singapore and want to buy visual novels. I was wondering how to buy it and how would they deliver the product to me. For example angel beats is 6800 yen and is approximately $84 Singapore dollars. How do I pay them by cash? And are all websites the same for buying visual novel's? Like just click buy and wait?

  8. Sorry what I meant was which one to download on the vndb but I didn't mean to say download it from there. For example there is a trial edition and complete edition in vndb so I wanted to know which one of them to download so that I can google it and download

  9. When I searched for a visual novel, I used vndb.org and below the downloads I don't know which one to download for japanese and for some it is fully voiced whereas some it is not stated whether it is voiced or not. You need to click one of the downloads to know the description and details.   Please help

  10. I am not japanese so reading japanese VN is going to be difficult for me. For you guys, especially those who are not japanese, can you translate it to English very fast or are you like me who have to read word for word which is very very slow and tedious. For example, あなた... I'll have to translate oh あ is a , and な is na and た is ta. So together is anata. And of course sometimes I'll have to go and Google translate the meaning of it cuz I don't really understand some of the japanese. In this case I know anata is you because I watch anime and am pretty sure what that means.

So I want to know how you people translate visual novel on your own very quickly. Is it because you learned Japanese or what? (I'm trying to avoid using a translator cuz that's like destroying the fun of vn)

Note: I kind of learned hiragana and katakana, but no kanji though cuz I thought I'm pretty confident in my Chinese(although kanji is not exactly the same as Chinese) and will know what the kanji means when it is on its own . But when it's combined into a sentence, I'm a goner.
