The Only one I really own is the Limited edition of Tick! Tack! that I bought at a con a while back, and I can't even read it due to me not being good enough at japanese.

The first VN I ever read was (if you discard some forgettable nukige I once read) Fate/stay night.
I was home due to an ilness, and was just browsing, tvtropes, when I suddenly got the urge to play an "anime-ish" game. I looked, around through some random examples, and I somehow ended up at the Tsundere page. One of the examples caught my mind and more than 1.5 years later, here I am.

While I'm not a member of many communities besides this one, I can safely say (or write) this: Fuwanovel is without doubt the most friendly community I have ever known and it would also greatly sadden me if it didn't somehow remain that way.

If you don't mind a serious story within a light-hearted one (or yuri), I will recommend Katahane.
It's got a good story, and most of the it stays comedic almost all the way.
And also, Wouldn't it be predictable if there were only good endings?
