You were asked to talk to Defendos, the fact that you haven't seen it means that you must have spent a week doing nothing (revision history shows barely anything).

I'm looking forward to play partial patch one and try this game, How many route would partial patch have?
It'll just be the prologue which is 5083 lines. After that we will probably release the full patch.

It is rather unfortunate that the "old culture" has basically adopted an anti-technology stance and drove those who use MT to be ostracised and marginalised; if he can be faster and/or more accurate with MT than without, it makes sense to. Of course a better human translator can be more accurate than MT, but otherwise you shouldn't let what the old culture thinks get in the way of how you can best translate with what you have.

Well, nicely said, although I wouldn't say I'm in the anti-technology group.
He kinda went a bit Kamikaze and focused on quantity over quality. He gave the TLCs a headache with those parts.
As long as we get the quality side out of him there won't be any issues.
As for my notifications, that would probably be a good idea.

OK I got the massage, So online and machine Kanji dictionary is out of question.
They also count as machine TL, right?
Well, I can do it old style if you want.
A while after you joined you posted that your translation was made up of Machine TL which isn't a dictionary. Nobody has any problems with you using a dictionary, that doesn't count as Machine TL.

A harsh way to put it but nonetheless true. You yourself said you use a Machine TL and I'm simply passing on what others have said since I can't judge your TL personally. The main problem is that you didn't tell us you use it, even if it's just to help you. You're lucky you have something to do.
Fuwa forums seriously need to start emailing me.

He was the technical contact for this project, but nothing from him either on our end since July...
I still have my access to the RWI and it looks like I'll be doing the script importing into it. I'll take over whatever he was doing as your contact, just let me know.
MoriSummers has taken lead in the meantime, you might want to send a message to him.

Thanks for that, it certainly looks a lot better. Since you said you had some free time I'm going to guess that you don't have enough and wouldn't be up for joining, even if it was just chucking a few lines your way?

some... corrections...? This is, in my opinion, is a more casual/proper/common way to say those stuff in english.
I remember reading a few posts up that you can help with editing. If you are still up for it then join the IRC and PM me your Google Mail. That will get you access to the spreadsheet. You will be helping with image editing, yeah? Although, there isn't anything to do for now.
Nobody wants you to leave, Joshyan. I'll deal with whatever lines come up.

Here is side-by-side comparison for easier inspection.
(We're still in the process of setting up RWI so that you can translate easily like that. Then if your browser has built-in spellcheck and/or autocorrect, that'll be useful automatically.)
We already have something similar to that in the form of a spreadsheet. The only problem using a spreadsheet gives us is that putting the translated scripts back in will be a tough job. We're prepared for that though. If your way allows us to easily put the scripts back in then we would like to adopt it.
Also, the line count you gave us originally was wrong. According to Defendos you split up the lines e.g.
line 1: Akane
Line 2: "what she says"
Line 3: Ooba
Line 4: "what he says"
etc.
Was there a reason for this?

Hi all. I'm ACF, sub-leader, TLC (with some knowledge), website admin and file host. I thought I'd post a sample of the Translation we have so far. Get ready for a small wall of text, these are the first 16 lines:
本日晴天なり
The weather today is very nice.
何かいいことがありそうな、そんな晴れ渡った空の下
Something good may happen under this lovely clear sky.
俺は国立樫ノ森学園を目指して歩いていた
I'm walking to Kashinomori National School.
今日の入学式を終えれば、俺、[rb,大場誠一,おおばせいいち]はあの学園の学生となる
When today's entrance ceremony is finished, I [Ooba Seiichi] will become a student at that school.
樫ノ森学園は言うなれば、超エリート校だ
If you had to describe Kashinomori, you would say it is a super elite school.
なんつーか、いいのか、俺なんか入って？ と聞いてしまいそうになる学園なのだが
I wonder if it will be good for me to attend it? I guess I'll find out once I'm in there.
誠一,「でも合格はしたんだしな。ま、いいんだろうな

There are a few places where people with Doryoku can gather and be trained, and Kashinomori School In Nagami City is one of them.

Indeed, not only do we not have TLC but our editors are also busy. What could be edited is currently lying untouched. There's also the matter of the QCs going MIA...
Translation is still moving on Yuzu and Yves at least.
