The key to good writing is reading a lot

Rooke and I come from two schools of thought regarding writing.   Rooke heavily focuses on style.  I focus more on content.  Depending on which is more important to you, the method of improvement will differ.

I don't think there's much point in separating style and content like that. The relationship between them isn't horizontal, "style" is the way through which you convey your content to your reader. There's no content floating in a vacuum, nobody wants to read a bare script like that. Therefore clarity and brevity IS a style, which you might prefer as a writer.
