Zeris
I posted about this in the discussion forum to give others a heads up: Currently having an issue with the game that I wasn't having prior to upgrading to Windows 10. While clicking through the screens to advance the text, audio, and scene, the text and scene will sometimes freeze, while the audio files will continue to play as I continue to click. I can still click menu options and what not, but the screen itself is frozen (hopefully that makes sense). The only way to fix it is by closing out of Majikoi S entirely and then opening it again, loading a save, and fast-forwarding to where I had gotten to before. Fairly confident this is a unique issue to Windows 10, as I went through several routes in Windows 7 without this issue. I've used two different methods of running the executable (and I've also tried compatibility mode) but the problem persists. Strangely, this does not occur with Majikoi nor any of the other visual novels I currently have. The issue seems to be unique to Majikoi S on Windows 10. Does anyone else have this problem? kooolm
Hmm, strange. I'm 5 hours in, yet haven't encountered such problem. Have you tried reinstalling the game?
Zeris
Just a bit of an update for this just in case anyone is experiencing the same issue I was: it was due to EVGA Precision X. After uninstalling it, I haven't had any problems with Majikoi S. EVGA Precision X was also the root of some other problems I was experiencing with programs on Windows 10, so if you're having issues with this or other VNs, try disabling or uninstalling EVGA Precision X.
