So, I have finally finished my Majikoi marathon. Agave route was damn amazing. 10/10
This might actually be my new favorite VN of all time.
Also, routes: Agave>Kazuko>Momoyo>Miyako>Mayucchi>Chris
Characters: Capt=Hideo>Kazuko>Mayucchi>Momoyo>Chris>Miyako (but she's still awesome!)

Just finished Miyako's route in Majikoi. Don't really know what to think of it yet, since I don't have anything to compare it to. I found the ending to be pretty predictable, but that doesn't really bother me. I thought it was sweet

Finally unlocked the CG page, and ugh, getting 100% is gonna be quite tiresome this time.Hideo is my favorite character, hands down. Whenever his theme began playing I started giggling to myself, I just couldn't help it. He's one of the silliest characters I've seen in a VN. Gen-san is a close second, though. Male tsundere for the win.
Hmmm... I think you should alternate between main and side routes because sometimes the side routes have little pieces of foreshadowing.
Also, getting 100% CG is not very hard. Only when you get the bath scenes different choices give you different CGs.
And yes, Hideo is awesome xD Even when he says random bullcrap, he says it with such charisma and conviction in his voice that I can't help but love it.

Well, it's divided into different chapters. Some have a supernatural component and some don't.
It's worth to play it and see for yourself.

Completed Suika a while ago. What to say, it was really interesting! It's just a romance VN, but it lacks all the clichès that harems
usually have by virtue of not being one. Sayaka-senpai clearly the best girl by the way.
EDIT: I forgot to mention the freakin' mind games this VN played on me!
I had the feeling I had missed something in the second chapter, and then what the hell; it was Sayaka-senpai narrating the story and leaving out certain parts.
Amazing. Genius. Masterful.

It's great to know this is out! I apparently managed to miss it for a while.
I've been having some problems though. I downloaded the version up on the site, and I can get the game running just by double-clicking on "YuukiYunna.exe"
However, in the very first scenario the game always crashes when it gets to a certain line.
It's near the beginning when they're cleaning the road and there's a flashback to how Itsuki used to be too shy to greet people.

What's Kira*Kira about?
It's about rock'n'roll! Well, not really, but it's one of the best VNs I've played. All the characters are likable, the protagonist is unique, the routes are all very good. You should definitely give it a try.

Yeah, what jjm152 said. You guys are thinking about that suitcase scene a bit too hard. It IS Kyousuke. He's giving a victory smirk because he didn't actually want Tsubaki's family to get back their money, since it was his job to make them sell their land.

I really don't know if I should keep going at it. I already finished the young neighbor girl's route, the sister's route, the cafe maid route and the student council president's sister's route. I find none of the other girls interest me in the slightest. Is there really anything else to the game? I've heard of a secret heroine, but...

It was foreshadowing for the fact that
Ririko is with him from the beginning of the game. Those are her clothes of course.

Looking forward to the rest of Grisaia and most of all, Yahari. Having read the LNs I can say this 2nd season, if done well, is gonna be anime of the year.

I'd have to say the skip directly to next choice. I once accidentally deleted my Grisaia saves and that saved me probably over an hour of the skip button.
Otherwise I'd say character animation, such as Majikoi (even if it's a bit clunky there) and customisable color text depending on who's talking (Majikoi and G-Senjou).

Ririko was always that "fairy" that sepai is always talking about
they even left food for head from time to time in touka's houseHeck, look at this:
This is literally at the beginning of Chapter 3, as soon as Ken moves into Touka's house:
One guess who that "invisible assistant" is. Yeah, Ririko actually talks. They just threw it in the middle of a comedic scene and no one brings any attention to it.
It's not even like you can't recognize her voice, so people who noticed on their first playthrough mus have been like "what the hell?"
As for me, I found it when replaying the game a second time. AS2 are such trolls.

But that doesn't really make sense. When Touka was wearing Ririko's clothes, Ririko was wearing Touka's uniform (at least, the CG says so). And since Touka's uniform hides the tattoo on Ririko's shoulder, no one is able to know that Ririko is actually bearing the Maximum Penalty.
Anyway, edited the first post so it makes sense and looks prettier. Because I like pretty things.
That's true, but they already know about Ririko. She passed in front of them multiple times before, so despite pretending not to notice, they know who she is.
Then they see Touka and they're like:"Wait, there's another girl with the Maximum Penalty?"

Sharin no Kuni is actually one of my favorites VNs ever. Definitely Top 10, and maybe even Top 5. It helps that I really liked all of the characters and their development. At first I thought it was good, funny and interesting because there was obviously something going on behind the scenes. The end of Chapter 2 is where it crossed into 'great' territory.
No easy way out. No sir.
Manaaaa ;_;And finally the appearance of
Ririko
where the game got amazing. Everything, every single bit of foreshadowing fell into place, and the story itself kept me awake 4 hours straight to get the ending.
Best scene is when
They're trying to free Natsumi. That teamwork and Ririko's awesome speech made it for me.
Overall, 9.5/10
Anyway, a little question:
In this scene:
It says that there is actually two people with the Maximum Penalty in that town. So, just who is that other one? Will it get answered in the FD?I'm surprised no one caught that. It's supposed to be slight foreshadowing for when, later in that scene, Touka tricks Houzuki by wearing the Maximum Penalty clothes and tattoo on herself.
That's why the guards thought there were two people with MP.Remember to play the fandisc. The after stories may be subpar at best, but it's worth it for the Houzuki story.

So I started chapter 5 of Sharin no Kuni... what the fuck, man. I didn't see that one coming.
I mean, I expected that I will see Ririko sooner or later anyway, but not like this. I mean.. seriously.. she was there the entire time? What the hell..
And now, I want to read it all at once in one go. But I just marathon'd Chapter 4 in one day so I am pretty tired now. First-world problem..

I don't like the protagonist at all. He's more like the guy, that deserves to be beaten up by the real protagonist (like those rich-footballteam-jerks in 80s teen flicks). Then there's the setting, which is kinda creepy and makes me feel really uncomfortable.
No clue if that stuff changes somewhere down the line or if all of that is on purpose, but I had enough after 30 minutes.
Well, I don't want to spoil too much but literally everything in the game has a purpose. You should really give the game a second chance. It takes a while to really get started but it gets really good.

Finished everything in Everlasting Summer. That was decent for a free game, I guess.
Now I'm not sure if I should play Chaos;Head or Sharin no Kuni next. Suggestion, maybe?
Sharin no Kuni definitely. I like Chaos;Head too, but Sharin is leagues better.

It was obvious that Fortellos 'magic' was affected by emotions, but it was nice to have Cordell-sensei confirm it during Al Fine:
That being said, it explains why Fal completely rekt Chris the day before the graduation recital with her revelation of using him and whatnot. He was completely devasted, resulting in a phenomenal performance during the recital.
Just wanted to mention this since at the time I was like "Why would she do that? Wouldn't making Chris depressed make him play worse?" But nope. It makes him play better~

Holy hell, didn't think about that. One of the charms of this game is how you can keep finding stuff like this even a year after you played it.

Finished Torta's route in Symphonic Rain.
Misc. Thoughts/Ramblings(spoilers)
General Thoughts:
- Overall my heroine rating will be Torta > Lise > Fal. Torta's the typical childhood friend who has great dynamics with Chris (I love watching them tease each other :3). Lise gets second place because of how cute and innocent she is that just makes me wanna hug her and protect her with all my might. Fal unfortunately gets third cuz I still don't like the "use or be used" philosophy, though I can understand it. Sort of. That being said, I think Fal is the most interesting character out of the bunch (and also the prettiest, hehe).
- Route wise, Torta > Lise > Fal. Torta's route because it actually deals with y'know, Arietta. Lise's route because it had a few foreshadowing elements to keep me interested (ie. wondering why Lise was shy/bullied, revelation of Grave being her father, wondering why Lise was getting injured). Fal's route... not much went on(practice, hang out, more practice. No drama or foreshadowing so it got pretty draggy. The climax was cool though. Better than Lise's because it's annoying having parents be the bad guys).
- Lise gets shafted in screentime. ie. Torta and Fal appear in all three routes, Lise only appears in her own route. QQ Lise
- I'm really, really interested about Phornie's background.. Torta's route finally gives some more info in that Phornie can't leave the apartment/is bound to the apartment so that's why she says bye(in other routes she just outright vanishes after saying bye) but I have a feeling there's more to it(?) maybe not..
Torta Thoughts:
- I see why Torta's route was recommended to be last. I totally didn't expect to actually get to see 'Arietta' in person
she has such a nice contrast to Torta. But personality wise I think I like Torta's energetic personality better than Arietta's graceful personality~ - That being said, I'm a bit bothered by how easily Chris becomes unfaithful to Arietta across all routes. I mean, c'mon, I know long distance relationships tend to not work out, but it was still 3 YEARS they were in a relationship. THREE! and for his feelings to all of a sudden change within one month is a bit sad.
- Hell, when Arietta shows up, he even monologues to himself about how happy he was that she showed up because it reaffirmed his love for her, but then drama happens and not even a week happens before he has his sights on Torta
(technically he always did, but still...) - Speaking of the drama, nice going, Chris. When he called Arietta "Torta" I totally had the biggest "OH SHIT" feeling I've had in quite a while. I love it when VNs bring out these sorts of feelings!
- Love triangles suck. I'm wishy-washy like Chris so deep down I was hoping for a peaceful resolution, but too bad.. I'm fond of both Arietta and Torta so I felt Chris's pain.
- The graduation recital was sooo BS. Like I was getting ready to play the rhythm mini game but nope they skip it for this route xD
- The final encounter with Arietta was a missed opportunity on the writers' part imo. Like I was totally expecting there to be a choice: "Stop Arietta" or "Let Arietta go" and my heart was actually getting pumped up as she laid out his options, but noo Chris automatically chooses to let her go and the credits roll. Felt RIDICULOUSLY anticlimatic. (I honestly would've impulsively chosen stop Arietta had they given us the choice...)
- But man.
- That ending.
- THAT ENDING.
- THAT FRIGGEN' ENDING. HOLD UP.
- HOOOOOOLD UP
WTF IS THIS. Torta + hair down = Arietta? "Muttered things that went beyond my comprehension" -> was she explaining that she was posing as Arietta the whole time or something? SAY IT ISN'T SO. Please tell me I'm wrong. Or else my head will explode.
Edit: Started Al Fine, up until the the point Chris says, "Do you hear the rain?".

After finishing the game today, I've searched around the Internet a bunch, but I can't find any reliable source to get the soundtrack. Does anyone here have any advice?
