Does anyone know the production cost involved with Katawa Shoujo? Or was the entire thing not paid? As I understand it, Katawa Shoujo was made from a group of random people - 21 of them, or something like that. Was KS created during their free time, or did they have a budget or something? Was the sound and music also self made? Sorry if the answer to these questions are already on the net.

Hm can someone help explain some of the things at the end of the "normal" route? I understand that Tanomura, Kuwagata, Aore, and Tsukasa all die, but what of the other characters? Do we ever know that Yuka commits suicide, or whether Kawase dies? Basically, is the "normal" route everyone dies?
