  1. I'm reading G-senjou no Maou, finished Kanon's route last night. I really liked how they handled it.

Not so much her skating story itself, but how the Maou story stopped due to his choices. It was my first route and I'm fairly happy with it. I think it's better than just tacking on an epilouge for each girl. I've now moved back to what seems to be the "main" story again.

  2. Sengoku Rance (Annoying rapist protagonist.), Kazoku Keikaku (While the protagonist was interesting it had annoying heroines and characters, especially the old man. Aoba was fine though), OsaDai (Not a fan of parodies so I didn't enjoy it.), Duel Saviour (Idiot protagonist and awful main heroine. I didn't continue once I knew who the main heroine was.), Daibanchou (The format was just weird.)

    I never finished these.

Wakamoto cannot be annoying, scientific fact. Well, whatever. After all I found Aoba annoying enough to avoid her route.

Though I still haven't seen the FSN anime. It would just piss me off. Hopefully the remake is awesome.

    Fuck the Majikoi anime.

There was a reason I stopped. Episode 2 was especially awful, which kept me at bay for like a month. Though I'm glad I went back temporarily and made it to ep 4 for "Kyaaaaa, ecchi".

  4. Thanks again to everyone who left a message.

Welcome to the forums! Hope you enjoy your stay!

You've read quite a few VNs! :o Don't forget to read Saya no Uta, Cross Channel, Symphonic Rain, and Ever17 (although I'm guessing you're planning on reading Never7 and Remember11 first).

    Have a moe:

I haven't read Never 7 in ages, so I'm probably gonna go straight to Ever 17. A friend told me to read Never 7 first, but the latter looks much more interesting. Saya no Uta is one of those things that "I'll get around to eventually", joining such illustrious company as everything ever. The other two I've heard of but haven't really looked into, will do.

    Osu!Osu! welcome n have fun

    enjoy a pun

I went to a seafood disco last week ...and pulled a mussel.

come to Majikoi thread and talk to me!!!! i`m gonna make trap outta u~~~

    I'll dip my toe in.

  5. Thanks for the welcome guys.

Welcome to the party! :D However at this point in time I don't think the Majikoi thread is a safe haven for anyone anymore. :P

    I noticed. XD

    Welcome to FuwaForums !

    Enjoy your stay !

Please read G-Senjou no Maou and Grisaia no kajitsu :D

Heh, you're in luck. I'm currently reading the former and the latter's in my immediate backlog.

  6. I read "The Flower Shop: Summer in Fairbrook" on iOS and while the story/characters were just mediocre, the functionality was awful. I don't recall there being skipping or saving, so once I finished one route it expected me to start all over again without skipping.

Story wise I guess Hitomi My Stepsister. It was exceptional from a functional point of view, even had a built in flow-chart. (Which more VNs should have). But I just couldn't bring myself to like the main character. I have a high tolerance for this sort of thing, so while it didn't "disgust" me I found it very hard to enjoy as a non-sadist.

  7. For one I tend to like girls who already like the main character. Chasing uninterested girls while leaving someone who likes you in the dust isn't my favourite thing in the world. And by interested I mean clear interest. Not tsundere "can't spit it out" type interest. I'm also partial to girls who act with a degree of rationality. Kneejerk reactions and irrational outburts tend to bother me. You know, beating the shit out of someone and/or abusing them over a misunderstanding, or worse still something that was their fault to begin with.

  8. I don't switch back and forth between multiple VNs daily or anything, but I don't always finish one before starting another either.

There's also the case of non-PC VNs. I've read a few on iOS for example, so one of those may have been read parallel to one on PC (I tend to read them on the go, e.g. public transport. Then I would read a PC one at home).

  9. How are you? Fine, thank you.

Ah, anyways. I've been lurking a little recently so I thought I would join up and get involved, especially since I've gotten back into VNs after a mini hiatus. (At the expense of my anime intake, but hey, you can't win em' all). This site has been super helpful in that respect. I think I first came here looking into the Miyako translation for Majikoi, and while I still keep track I now use the site for a lot of other things. I'm currently reading The Devil on G-String and will probably start 999 when my copy arrives.

I'm pretty open minded and will read most things. I've even got an Otome game in my backlog out of curiosity. I have no issues with sexual content, but as I usually find H-scenes pretty boring I tend to avoid Nukige. I don't dislike many things, maybe just NTR and tsunderes. I guess a shit main character can be a little grating too given the nature of the medium. Anyways enough rambling from me, thanks for reading and I look forward to meeting you all.
